Of course he was.

Both Carter and Reagan took lots of **** for meeting with world leaders who weren’t our friends. As far as I know, what I was talking about started with them

That's true. It's not like Fox was pushing that same storyline against Obama. That would be crazy.

Fake News.

I'm sure the NK's are for real. This time.

Picture The Trumpster as Charlie Brown...and Kim as Peppermint Patty yanking the football away from him, as he's about to kick it.

Except this time, Charles just takes his ball and goes home... and then proceeds to bang her neighbor downstairs, while ‘revenge ****ing’ her asian friend across the street...

At the same time, he gets the state to cut off their assitance due to fraud, and laughs as her and her family wallow in their own poverty and obscurity for years to come.

Her family is later seen strangly spending all of their time, money, and resources lighting fireworks at all hours, and yelling empty threats to passerbys.

Sad, really.

Trump knows what he's doing. Walk away before they do. He's had the upper hand on this all along.

It's comical to me that they let CNN in to view their so called demolishing of a nuclear site. It's well known the site was toast, they're probably just destroying evidence...but CNN laps it up like they have the exclusive, when they're just NK lap dog to deliver their fake message to the world.

While that news is disappointing, hopefully it will lead to a more, conciliatory Kim Jong Un in the near future where such a summit may stand an actual chance of leading to a meaningful & successful outcome. In the meantime, let's see how NK/SK move forward from here as well.

Again, disappointing news, but I'm not ready to throw in the towel just yet.

I've seen this talking point mention in articles and here;

Pirate Life wrote:They completed the mission of building a working nuclear arsenal (even with only a few bombs/warheads) and in bringing the US President to the negotiating table.

I don't believe that most people think dialogue is a bad thing. Talking/diplomacy is better that military action imo and I think/hope most would agree.

Please point out where I said NK conned the US into this or that it was going to be bad for the US and/or Trump.

Probably moreso than most folks on this board I'd like to see peace in Korea and see NK rejoin the world (if not have a unified country). I don't care if it's Trump, Clinton, Putin, Obama, Rodman or even Jameis Winston that gets that done or gets the credit for it so I can fulfill a promise made to my dad before he passed away. Pardon me for having followed what goes on in Korea and North Korea more than most and having seen how this drama plays out multiple times over the last 15-20 years since I really began paying attention to it. Yeah, there are folks out there who don't want to see Trump succeed, just as there were folks that didn't want to see Obama, Bush or Clinton succeeed either. I could care less who is in the White House, it's the morons in Congress that are screwing everything up.

He’ll get it done. This is a normal back and forth trying to get a better deal . North Korea is being offered a economic

package they won’t be able to resist.

Do me a favor when you spread your dad’s ashes over the Frozen Chosin. Take a pic and post it on it on here for me.

So one of the biggest criticizers of using political memes has been posting a bunch of them lately. Hopefully we will see no more criticism from him when others do the same going forward.

Moving on...

In light of Kim's change in attitude, it seems Trump was right to cancel the summit. Sad.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/05/24/politics ... index.html

Trump did, however, leave an opening should Kim wish to get serious about reconciliation. Let us all hope Kim takes that opening and follows through next time.

Old people love to complain.

"He's posting memes even though I thought he complained about them!"
"Those kids keep getting on my lawn!"
"My social security payments aren't enough!"
"I don't want to go to the Baby Boomer death camp!"

Get a grip already...

Please note that one of the forum administrators (I think nybf is an admin anyway) said that memes should be placed in the Meme Thread. Regardless, it's just a pissing contest, so I'll stop.

What are the chances Pompeo and Kim planned this cancellation beforehand? It allows Kim to sabre-rattle and look tough for domestic consumption and Trump to **** with the media and the Liberals some more while building up the eventual meeting even more.

It's a battle of 8 year olds.

Trump needs a win, and Kim wants more stuff. All these two peabrains have to do is wait for the diplomats to figure out how to make it look to each guy came away feeling like they totally screwed that guy while getting what they want.
