Regardless of next years record there is no way I fire Licht. It’s up to Koetter and his staff to get the most out of these new additions.

Seconded.

Thirded.

I agree, no excuses. Our obstacles are our division and schedule, we are not limited by our roster at all.

It's way too early for this. I don't even know how some of these players will fit in.

Out DT depth is pretty set. I'd rather keep that Godwin Ig kid for depth at Safety.

Who, exactly, is Unrein supposed to be and why do you think he is so valuable? He's a rotational guy at best. We know what he is, an 8th year JAG. The Bucs traded up to target Stevie T, it's not inconceivable that they see something they like to keep him active over Unrein. It may just come down to Stevie being eligible for the practice squad.

If the bucs loved him that much they most certainly wouldn't have drafted Vea at12.

This is an incredibly stupid post. We are talking about which bottom of the depth chart situational guy is going to make the team and you think that had some impact on drafting an elite player in the first.

Why you got to be down on the guy RBF? I'd rather find out he busted his tail this offseason to make the team - wouldnt you?

Anyting is possible, I just don't think Stevie T is in the plans. A guy his size doesn't have any STs value. I just don't see how he would fit on the roster.

You want to bet me a buck that the guy I just said will likely end up on the practice squad won't make the 53? You're really doubling down on the dumb, huh.

This. I’m not sure WTF RBF is arguing here.

I'm arguing that with Vita Vea in the fold, Stevie T is gonzo. This is a logical assumption.

Stevie T. is basically the Chinese knockoff version of Vea.

Still, I think Stevie sticks around on the practice squad at a minimum. By trading up for him and targeting Vea, it's obvious that One Buc values the huge, physical NT. Unrein is just a guy, with Stevie they can develop a younger, cheaper and hopefully better version to play behind Vea, or possibly take his job if he moves to Gerald's spot in a few years.

4 deep at safety is pretty deep. Especially considering safeties don’t really come off the field. Dlinemen do and they rotate heavily. I see no reason to not go 5 deep at the DT position. Stevie T can hopefully develop some and be a replacement for Unrein or even Allen in 2019.

You don’t move on from big bodies just because.

Unrein is now a 4th DT making $3mil+ a year. Stevie T makes maybe $500k? It’s obvious why we’d keep the latter in the fold. Team control at a low price.

Yeah, I don't really see the value of Unrein for $3mil. He's a versatile run stopper. But, he's nothing special. I'd like to at least see what Stevie has to offer.

I notice when you talk age, you leave out the fact that Unrein is a 31 year old, 8 year vet with 4.5 career sacks. I am not sure why you are nuthugging a career JAG so hard but it's kind of funny.

Donald Igwebuike related to Godwin? We gotta be the only NFL team to have two players named Igwebuike 8-)
