Which I really like because I can sit and drink one over the span of 45-60 minutes and it's like drinking 5 beers in one. So you catch a really nice relaxing buzz without feeling bloated, having to go pee, etc. Just super relaxing. People may see 18-20% ABV and think "let's get trashed", but it's a strong tasting beer so it's not one that you would drink quickly. You're almost forced to drink it slowly and mellow out.

Best Milk Stout there is IMO

My beer store got one case of it and didn’t release it to the public. He saved them for his regulars to buy so I got one. I’ll let you know how it is in 6 months or so.

I got 2.
I always save 1, drink 1. It's fantastic. Best new beer I've had this year.

I'm excited to try it. I usually have a hard time aging beers cause I'd rather drink them. Been much better with it this season. Currently have a cabinet with:
1 Hardywood Bourbon Barrel Gingerbread Stout
3 Goose Island Bourbon Brand Stout (2 are gifts for brothers)
1 Goose Island Coffee Bourbon Brand Stout
1 Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout
1 Prarie Bomb!
1 Prarie Christmas Bomb!
1 Avery Breast Grand Cru
1 Avery Samael's Ale
Another good beer I've picked up this fall has been Bell's Expedition Stout. It's $3 at my store and has 10% ABV. That's a win. Nothing fancy about it, just a good, plain stout.

With all the consolidations and M&As, we don't have a really large American owned mass beer producer anymore...Pabst is the biggest at just over 2% market share
I know lots here don't really like the watered down flavor of a Coors Light or something like that, but I do.

I contend that American style lagers have their place in the beer universe, but that place is in the summer. This is Porter and Stout season.
