CNN alert hits my phone:

"Senate intel chariman says they're still searching for "any hint of collusion" involving Russia and Trump campaign"

I chuckled...

I chuckled...

Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman is Richard Burr(R) North Carolina.

That being said, He also said this today:
“The Russian intelligence service is determined (and) clever, and I recommend every campaign and every election official take action,”

You know, now that you brought up the SF consulate, I looked into it. So the day after the White House ordered it closed, black smoke came pouring out the chimney for a while. That seems... odd. Thanks for bringing it up or I never would have looked into it. Collusion fail?

Do you really think party matters when it comes to investigating Trump? I think the 2 people in the Senate who want to stick it to Trump the most, including impeachment, are Republican: McCain and Graham. McCain probably hates Trump more than Maxine Waters does.

So you're saying the Russians were trying to choose a new pope?

Hmm. I suppose that does seem a bit.. odd.

not to steer this thread off topic, but yeah, it's been a disaster in my opinion. it's led us to the utter **** show we have now. not sure how "clued in" you are to the "dating" scene these days... but its an absolute. ****ing. disaster.

No pun intended? Lol There hasn't been a time in history that the dating scene was easy - for a million ifferent reasons. The sexual revolution simply meant that more people could have sex without the threat of pregnancy and therefore not have to get married. Relationships have always been difficult and there was never an era when relationships were sacred. When you get down to it nothing has changed for the better or the worse.

You deserve recognition for cultivating this thread into the 82 page monstrosity it has become, Corsair. I think most of us agree that Russian-related entities purchased some Facebook ads. Have you or anyone else seen any examples of Russian Facebook propaganda ads targeted to Wisconsin or Michigan?

I'm not talking about whether its "easy" or "hard". (christ the puns are unavoidable lol) The bolded is exactly what I'm talking about. We're sensitive, emotional biological creatures. You have girls who suck 40 ***** in a weekend because she has an app on her phone that lets her choose from literally hundreds of men with a swipe and its cool to be a low-key total slut because she's being told "**** it gurl, YOLO, you do you" by literally everybody. Then after being rode hard and put up wet for 15 years, this, let's be frank, whore, is supposed to act like a mother - and help raise a family? Women are wired differently, I don't have to tell you this. Men are the pursuers and women are the "prize", to put it in blunt terms - it is how our species has worked since before we were technically our species. A woman should be "earned" and she should hold herself to a standard that matches that. You're not equipped, emotionally (you can thank god or evolution for this) to handle that sort of sexual activity and come out the other side unscathed. When women no longer hold themselves to a standard - and is the case with an ever-increasing number of women, as they lower and lower the standards for themselves, it ends up being an emotional and familial clusterfuck. I mean this in the nicest sense, but please don't shoot back at me playing dumb about how "men and women are on equal playing fields in the sexual realm". You ever heard of a fat guy get called a slut? You ARE responsible with being the gatekeeper of your own body. If you're not, your actions have consequences that effect society as a whole, because if you're some god damn slut who fucks over 100 guys, the chances of you sorting your **** out enough to settle down and lose the hedonistic, exhibitionist, attention-whoring lifestyle is pretty grim. (men have a different responsibility to uphold - I'm just as critical of men who "drop out" of society and give into lazy ass video-game playing, no values, no purpose life style). Things HAVE changed for the worse. There used to be a veil. There is no veil anymore. It is full-blown degeneracy.

Doesn't the fact that there's over a 50% divorce rate alarm you? There's a psychological disconnect here and its ****ing the next, and the next, and the next generations up, as this goes on. And why do I even give a ****? I'm married - I had no "problems" in the "dating game" - I give a **** because I'm interested in the overall well-being of society - and you look at the studies that show that children raised in broken households are more likely to commit crimes, drop out of school, be less successful, end up with teen pregnancies, and live overall less-fullfilling lives. There's nothing "crafted" or "conceived" about any of this - it's giving into, and the supporting over others giving into, the most basic, chemically-driven reptilian impulses - and all of it goes against the very fiber of what makes us human and separates us from the ****ing apes. And we're paying the ****ing price for it

edit: Oh what do you know, this morning on CNN.com:
http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/05/health/wh ... index.html

The changing reasons why women cheat on their husbands: to keep their marriage alive
...
"The fact is," one of these friends told me, "I'm nicer to my husband when I have something special going on that's just for me." She found that she was kinder, more patient, less resentful, "less of a bitch." It occurred to me as I listened that these women were describing infidelity not as a transgression but a creative or even subversive act, a protest against an institution they'd come to experience as suffocating or oppressive.
...
These women were turning to infidelity not as a way to explode a marriage, but as a way to stay in it. Whereas conventional narratives of female infidelity so often posit the unfaithful woman as a passive party, the women I talked to seemed in control of their own transgressions. There seemed to be something new about this approach.
...
Like the women I knew who cheated, many of the interviewees said they liked their husbands well enough. They had property together. They had friendships together. They had children that they were working together to raise.
But at the same time, they found married life incredibly dull and constraining and resented the fact that as women, they felt they consistently did a disproportionate amount of the invisible labor that went into maintaining their lifestyle.
One woman in Walker's book told her, "The inequality of it all is such an annoying factor that I am usually in a bad mood when my spouse is in my presence,"

lmfao what a ****ing joke... boo ****ing hoo, have some self control and sort yourself out

As much as the left is all about socialism, it's amazing just how out in left field they are when it comes to the, very real, social constructs that shaped human beings for millennia.

Just about every (R) that was talking **** about him all of the sudden stopped once he got the nomination and they found out that he'd fall in line, keep the money following in, and continue the same corruption.

In all seriousness, he's put a lot of work into this thread and into this board in general. We joke with him/ridicule him, but I'm sure this is important to him. I felt bad that he was losing it.

That is true.
It was the tone of it, though. "They took the board down and didn't even say anything. They don't care about us." I could see the tears coming through my monitor.

Are you talking about Corsair? Was he continuing the collusion investigation over on PR? How do we know that Putin himself did not initiate a cyberattack on BZ to prevent Corsair from breaking the case?

I'm starting to worry that a Putin operative might have pricked Corsair with a ricin-tipped umbrella or something similar sinister. I really wish he would check in and let us know he is OK.

it's brilliant actually. and if this sort of **** doesn't start to wake people from their slumber, about how basically nothing they are exposed to is organic in nature - that everything they consume, are told to do, are told to vote for, has some sort of ulterior motive - all these little "social movements" - are just acts in a choreographed play

Image

inciting racial violence... inciting violence between citizens and police... sow dissent... sow instability...

now it people would wake the **** up and stop playing along

It's still believable. I mean, we've had Russian troll accounts sign up here before and spout random nonsense without seeming to want to sell something. I think LarryLand was eventually overrun by them.
