Disappointed with the Beckham trade. I was for trading him, but I thought we'd get more value, especially trading him in the division. I was hoping we were going hard for the Twins closer.

Jennings has sucked so far.
Cishek was decent in his 1 IP (I think?)

With colome and Boxberger struggling, I'm not very optimistic about us making playoffs. Our bats have cooled a bit. We are going to have to outscore teams with this staff.

Now, only a game over .500, watch us go full Rays mode and trade away Cobb or Long for peanuts lol

Beckham to Orioles for RH Tobias Meyers.

Do not like.

Same. Should have at least juiced them for futures or something. Beckham should fit in well with Baltimore...

Evan Longoria became the 2nd player in Rays history to hit for the cycle. Congratulations. Who was the 1st?

Oh stop that **** with the indignation over our return for Beckham.

The dude is 27 ****ing years old. He is, AT BEST, a ham-and-egger.

If we would've returned a family-sized bag of Doritos for the bum, I would've been THRILLED. I'm kind of surprised somebody actually WANTED him...

Crawford would be my guess as well.

Now somebody is gonna have to look it up. I'm too lazy...

Have to hand it to the Devil Rays.

Taking 2 of 3 from Houston and beating their ace tonight...impressive.

They replayed the 1st cycle when I was in the gym tonight. It was BJ Upton in October 2009.

TBH, I wouldn't of been surprised if Houston swept us, especially after how the first game went. Taking the next 2 is impressive, especially against Keuchel.

Snell is just a really bad pitcher. He isn't going to "Figure it out" this season, or probably ever. Sooner he's out of the rotation, and preferably off the team entirely, the better.

smdh and that's why Longo has never become a true giant of the game. He's gotten big hits before but it always eludes him on a night like tonight. This ****ing guy should've been tagged for 3 runs at least

Aaaaaannnnnd....here we are again.

Anyone still believe this team is capable of ripping of 6 or 7 straight?

That's wins OR losses.

Yeah...me neither.

Yet, nearly swept the best team in baseball. This team makes no sense.

Sure it does.

This is what this team is.

Don't over-think it.

.500

Too good to lose a lot. Not good enough to win a lot.

Meh. Good season considering.

Go BOLTS!

Sale was dealing, bro.

Good guy Rays

Knows the Bucs are playing again so they fade away and make sure they're not playing well enough for anyone to notice them instead. Why can't more teams be this classy

So I haven't followed the Rays too much this year, but what was the reason why they got rid of Beckham? I noticed they hardly got anything back in return and the Rays offense has sucked since he's left and I have a couple friends in Baltimore and they love him there. He's doing well hitting almost .500 with them. And from the looks of it he wasn't doing bad here either. So what was the reason behind it? A bit confused.
