I'm back on the Dragon Age: Inquisition since the first DLC dropped. Played a little Civ 5 las night as well, which was fun.

Played Fifa for the first time a few days ago during a tournament at my friends house. I was hooked and bought the game the next day and it has been in my PS4 ever since.

Fifa replay ability is off the charts. Nonstop play for a solid 15 minutes and is on to the next match. ..before you know it is been 3 hours.

Love Fifa. Witcher III drops in less than two weeks. Then Deus Ex: Mankind Divided at the end of the year. Potentially the next Mass Effect in Q3 or Q4 of next year. Hnnng.

I heard they rebooted the storyline or something. So Mortal Kombat X is essentially the original MK in terms of storyline?

Not exactly. In this sense, I would assume "reboot" means more "rejuvenated." The story is much better in this game than it has been in years, but it takes place 25 years after the events of MK (2011) and is not a re-do by any means. For any fighting game out there, the story in MKX is definitely tops. Neatherrealm definitely put some time into it. Additionally, the post-credits scene was pretty awesome.

If you're not one of the parents who takes the ESRB ratings all too seriously, I'd highly recommend it. Then when you do get it, play it, learn it, then crush your son in it. Mortal Kombat has always been a fun way to resolve an issue or who does what chores for my family since 1993. I've been calling my brother over the last couple weeks and telling him to bring his controller. Just to go at it like old times.

In a fit of nostalgia, I ordered the Might and Magic Humble Bundle that includes pretty much every game in the series, so I've been geeking out on that for the past couple weeks. On PS4, I still have Far Cry 4 half finished and haven't even started The Last of Us yet. I need to get my priorities in order...

No way. The little bastard is too good for me to gamble him like that.

So The Witcher 3 is really freaking good. To the point where I was upset that I had to go out of town yesterday and couldn't bring my PC with me.

Finished AC: Rogue last week. Final rating... 2-1/2 stars out of 5. I now think they made this game simply because if they had only gave a new AC game to the Xbox One crowd, they would have forever pissed off the 360 crowd. Sad.

Nah, they made it because it was basically a downsized reskin of AC4. It was easy and quick to make, not very resource intensive, and they got to sell it to us idiots for the price of a normal game.

Started playing Sniper Elite 3. Kill Cam is epic(never gets old watching some guys skull coming apart in slow motion) but the missions are long af, and it's pretty difficult. Authentic mode is too difficult. No saving/checkpoints(as in if you die/fail objective, you have to replay entire mission) is brutal...especially considering the lengh of the missions(most are about an hour long, some longer).

Just finished Red Dead Redemption a few days ago and now I'm on a PS2 kick(I love having a fully backwards compatible system):

- Primary: Persona 3: FES
- Secondary: MTX Mototrax
- MGS-A-Thon (For Phantom Pain hype): Metal Gear Solid II: Sons of Liberty

Been playing a lot of Rainbow Six: The Seige.

Fun online game. Refreshing from the usual run and gun COD stuff. Actually requires some strategy and teamwork.
