Space colony sim Surviving Mars is out in March
Paradox Interactive announced a launch date for its space colony sim Surviving Mars, as well as releasing a new trailer.
Developed by Haemimont — best known for the Tropico series — Surviving Mars will be released March 15, on Mac, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. The game lands players onto the red planet with a mission to build a city.
Surviving Mars isn’t just about dropping buildings and connecting routes. Alien mysteries add to the challenge, while the individual needs of the colonists lead to charged political intrigues.
“We feel that strategy and management games are at their best when they let the player experience the unique story being told by their decisions, and Surviving Mars is going to have that in a big way,” said Gabriel Dobrev, Haemimont’s CEO. “Your colonists aren’t just working to improve production, they’re struggling to survive, and their conflicts and concerns are intense. Surviving Mars lets you understand what your colonists are dealing with on an individual level, and coming up with creative plans for those needs will be a new challenge for our fans.”
Surviving Mars will cost $39.99 at launch. Look out for our review in the weeks ahead.

Yes. So much.
I love games that have moral implications almost as much as I like cyberpunk android sci-fi.

Is this open world as in you can be as hedonistic or altruistic as you want? Is it structured in a story or is there multiple upon multiple outcomes like a "choose your own adventure" book?

I went to Toys R Us this weekend just to see what was happening. Picked up Sunset Overdrive for $8. I played it for probably 5 hours yesterday. It came out in 2014. The graphics, gameplay and character customization are really cool and I actually appreciate most of the humor. I highly recommend it if you can find it cheap (it's probably cheap in the Xbox store). Oh and I guess it's only on XboxOne.
