The Bernie vs Cruz debate put this notion to rest that this idiot is a good man that happens to be a socialist. Besides his utterly emotional argument that it is common sense to have Universal Healthcare, he had nothing more to offer in the whole debate. Bernie is incapable of moral arguments, he is utterly incapable of economic arguments. All of his solutions require massive amounts of taxation. Bernie Sanders cannot make a moral argument for why anything should be a right, food, internet, cable, healthcare.

Also his response to that small business owner displayed his true character. That idiot cannot justify what is magical with the number 50 to begin with. Why is it moral for an employer to not buy insurance for her employees when she has 49 and why does it become immoral from 50 onward? His final response was "I don't know much about hair salon business". No **** dipwad, you never worked a real job in your life and you don't know **** about running businesses, and the market. That is why you are unfit to regulate, and you should not pass regulations assuming it will not impact businesses.

Everything I have read has led me to believe that George Soros runs the democratic party, so this would make sense.

Mountaineer Buc wrote:Because all this means is that the "little guy" has no significant representation in Federal Government right now. And the party that built itself as the one that looks out for the little guy is apparently just fine with that.

I think it's naïve to think that the "little guy" ever had significant representation in the Federal Government.

This is true.

I got paid to sit on a bus and hold up a sign at a local protest.

What does the allegation of paid protestors have to do with what I said?

Not only is he a huge contributor to the democratic party, it appears (from what we've learned from leaked emails) that he has influenced American policy.

And Sheldon Addleson or the Koch brothers don't?

That's the whole point. You and I have been kicked out of the Capitol. It's foolishness to think the President is immune to this

Thank god this socialist got screwed by the DNC, Ted made it look so easy to dismantle his emotional healthcare pleas. Couldn't imagine Bern in charge of the economy. Johnny said it best.

Told you there was a split in the party. Media is going to hammer this for all the traction they can get out of it. They're trying to squash the progressive movement.

Is the progressive movement akin to Bernie's platform?

Is "they" the media/establishment side of the party?

For the most part, yes.

It gets a little more complicated than what I'm about to say, but if you boil it down you have the Berniecrats who are all about universal healthcare, tuition free education, and minimum wage hikes vs. The Clinton wing who are the ones doing the identity politics, gun control, and sanctuary cities.

Clintonites blame Berniecrats for weakening the party and the Berniecrats are fed up with watered down, third way liberalism that lost 1,000 seats because they refuse to fight beyond a news cycle.

That always happens after a lost election. When Obama won the Tea Party split off and Dems on this board said Pubs would never win another Presidency. In a way with what Trump is, they weren't completely proven wrong yet, but these things are cyclical.

Very true. What Trump managed to do was unify the party by harnessing it's hatred of the Clinton's brand of politics which has been in full control of the party since 92.
