Trumps resignation

Postby Babeinbucland » Wed Aug 15, 2018 8:03 pm

So if he resigns, and I am thinking he most certainly will within the next year, he will craft his melt down as: although everybody loved him, there was no way he could overcome the fake news, the democrats witch hunt by all those in the democratic corrupt Mueller witch hunt. (Even though almost all of them are republicans).
He will also sight that he can no longer put his family through this corrupt, joke of a witch hunt and there is no way he can be president because the mean democrats will not allow him to do his job.

Book it, Dano.

Meet y’all back here then.

Resign? Lol.

Sounds like you’re losing faith in your boy Mueller, eh.

Haha.

You think a terminal narcissist who never apologies for anything or admits defeat is going to resign from the presidency?

You're funny.

His approval rating could be 1% and he'd still think he's doing a bangup job.

I see him as a sociopath primarily and a narcissist secondary. And I think he will resign given the alternative i.e Republicans finally having enough, criminal charges or impeachment. I do not think for a moment he will resign unless backed into a corner.

This whole thread screams of desperation.

No longer are they even hoping for any kind of indictment or impeachment... They’re realizing they may have nothing of consequence, and are now just hoping he gets tired and quits. Lol.

Funny, if not pathetic.

Looks like our president isn’t the only one who struggles with reading

Yeeeeah, sorry - I tend to skim your posts and didnt realize you changed the narrative again. Busted.

So now your contention is that “if” he resigns, it will only be in the face of his detractors “finally” having something on him for criminal charges, or impeachment? Lol.

Solid take. Big ‘IF’. You should really hold your breath on that one. ;)

I will say this, that if dems just keep obsessing over trump, and dont come up with some semblance of a real platform to run on, and someone to lead their party soon, that a second term for the donald will be all but guaranteed.

Right now, the dems are like a bunch of house cats in heat, and Trump is holding the laser pointer. Lol.

He's got a lot left to correct; I don't see him going anywhere soon. He's got a LOT of work to do fixing the school/brainwashing system. Just think by 2024 we could have more of this:

and less of this

I'd say she adheres to progressive liberalism vice classic liberalism, which for me the latter (classic) is what being liberal should be.

Being liberal used to have a defined set of broad ideals where people that identified as such adhered to. Many of which don't align with current (far-)leftist orthodoxy of identity politics and collectivism, which is what most refer to as progressive liberalism. Which is why the term "liberal" no longer means what most use it as. I like actual (classical) liberals b/c we share alot of common ground which aides in our ability to reason where don't have common ground. Sadly the term "liberal" in America these days is more synonymous with progressive liberalism.

Modern day progressives are post-modernists who tend to want the government to fix everything they advocate for in addition to most things in society being nothing more than constructs that can be easily reformed/overhauled (again by the government).

Conservatives want to build on the good (i.e. conserve) without destroying the values and best practices derived over generations, even those principles that predate America itself along with the institutions that uphold them.

I believe strongly that both conservatism and classical liberalism rely on one another to ensure society improves, but not at a catastrophic rate or direction for too long. I suppose there is some value in progressive liberalism, but it's also by far the most dangerous if allowed to dictate policy and direction of society.

Sorry, got a bit long-winded there...
