Campaign Finance Reform

We seem to talk about it quite a bit in varying threads. Maybe this can serve as a good space to flush out ideas

Vote in your primaries for candidates who do not receive corporate or PAC money.....this is the plan among progressive democrats modeling after Bernie's small donor campaign.

Would love to see a Republican version of this, but I'm not optimistic.

Until we get campaign finance reform (CFR) I don’t believe our votes matter. Money will decide the bills that are passed and even which bills are brought to the table.

I'm for changing the campaign finance reform laws but I have yet to hear any that I support.

I'm for social media regulation as it relates to politics. i.e censorship of conservatives...FB, youtube, google

if we could get zuck and the other kings of the universe out of politics that would be nice. i'm sure their involved in campaign finance a well

right after i post this.... lol

"Google came under fire on Thursday after an error in its Knowledge Panel listed "Nazism" as the ideology of the California Republican Party."

Agreed for the most part. The one thing we can do is stay informed and show up to primaries to vote for people who aren't corrupt ***holes (if there happen to be any running), like MB said.

Not exactly CFR, but I thought this would be a good place to put this.

I came across this really good documentary series called The Swamp where some courageous current congressmen (I believe all (R)'s) speak out about how the government really works. There's only 3 episodes available so far and they're only ~10 minutes long each. Every American needs to understand how Washington REALLY works if we want to fix it.
