Look at the state of business next year and you'll see whether or not Trump is hurting business.

Cool story. But where did I give him credit? I said he bullshits alot and doesn't always do what he says.

You clowns can't help yourself. It's pathetic. Do you guys whine about Trump in real life also? Or is this just your outlet?

It's only a few more years. You'll be ok.

Nah, in real life I'm an ultra-religious neo-con.

The U.S. added a robust 313,000 jobs in February, far exceeding the 200,000 predicted by a Reuters survey of economists. Unemployment stayed at 4.1%, while wage growth grew 2.6% year-over-year — slightly below the expected 2.8%. Increased labor-force participation may be contributing to stagnant wages, says Bloomberg; that figure rose to 63%.

That’s great news all around, particularly the part about labor participation increasing.

In addition Jan and Dec job numbers were revised up

I especially like how wage growth is dropping even though all the news was about how companies were increasing pay in response to tax cuts. In fact, while Trump was complaining on the campaign trail about how bad the economy was doing, we had larger job growth matched with 4% wage growth.

MAGA indeed.

A Wall Street Journal chart on US labor participation rates.

"The overall rise and its drivers were positive elements of Friday’s strong jobs report.

Continued broad-based increases would boost both the demand and supply side of the economy; and they would also entail important social benefits. "

California lost 9,000 business HQs and expansions, mostly to Texas, 7-year study says

Roughly 9,000 California companies moved their headquarters or diverted projects to out-of-state locations in the last seven years, and Dallas-Fort Worth has been a prime beneficiary of the Golden State’s “hostile” business environment.

It’s typical for companies leaving California to experience operating cost savings of 20 up to 35 percent, Vranich said.

Well considering the job creation, GDP growth, and income growth rates in California are some of the best in the nation, I'd say they're doing just fine. The 9000 businesses accounted for less than 7% of businesses based in California and is not a net figure. Businesses move all the time. Some moved TO California. But every few months I see this article brought up by conservatives that love to hate on California as their sole proof that it's supposedly a terrible place to run your business.

Without offsetting cuts, we all knew that tax plan would increase the deficit. While I'm not surprised by that, I must ask, where are the offsetting cuts needed to make this, at the least, net zero? I mostly blame Congress.

I blame everyone. Everyone has a hand in this. The President, Congress. Voters.

We are all showing time and time again we don’t care.

I edited to say I mostly blame Congress, but you beat me to it. But, yeah...there's blame to lay at the feet of many.

All I'm saying is that if people want to give Trump credit for good things in the economy they should also give him responsibility for the bad.

Of course it's mostly the legislature when it boils down to it. I'd be surprised if Donny knew enough about economics to even have an original thought on the matter.
