If I'm reading that correctly, it was a scheduled campaign stop? It wasn't like he was there eating dinner and everyone went crazy.

I have no idea exactly what part of it was campaigning...i quickly responded to the part that said "campaign stop in Venice, Fla". I assumed there was an event somewhere in the city that was the formal campaign part and he simply then later went to dinner in the area.

If that isn't the case, and he was doing a formal rally event at a restaurant, the context changes. I would have no real problem with people protesting outside a campaign event. (though in all honesty, i think those protests are mostly pointless"

Yeah, I agree with all that. If he stopped to grab some ropa vieja on the way to where ever he was speaking, you've got to leave the man alone. But if that was the stop, then it's fine.

I just checked my voter information...I was listed as an inactive voter. Seemed kinda weird. The site stated I hadn’t responded to a notice that was mailed out.

So, I checked the mailing address and sure enough...they have my NH address.

Anywho...I requested a ballot.

I checked my registration status with the state 3 times before the primary.

I wouldn't put it past the Trump-ettes at my county to try to purge my liberal ass before November.

Yeah...no doubt the Democrats at my county office would purge me. I’m sure they aren’t thrilled with Independents.

If you lived in Vermont I'd laugh, but NH is becoming a bit of a battleground.

All the more reason to have automatic voter registration of some sort.

I thought you claim to be a registered Republican? Why do you think the county fears your vote so much to the point of purging?

Changed my registration to Democrat last year so I can vote in a closed primary.

Try and keep up.

MB needs to early vote as soon as possible so he can stop checking and worrying. What County do you live in, MB? Any history and evidence of officials purging Dems in the past?

Gillum meets Corey Booker and has a fundraiser...

Shortly after that, he shifts his message from Medicare for all to Medicaid expansion and strengthening the ACA. Flip flop.

I'm not going to jump into too many threads here, because we live in crazy times, but i will offer this:
The reports on FB about Mr. Gillium being a muslim are incorrect, as someone i know tried to assert.
With that being said, I'd rather have a guy that isn't a Mini-me.
The other guy, REALLY scares me.

Nuff said.

Just vote, folks. And vote for the right reasons.

I can't possibly see how he thinks this is a good idea, unless he wants to lose. As soon as DeSantis runs the ads with Gillum standing next to Hillary, Gillum will drop in the polls.

There's definitely a left lean for Florida. I haven't seen Ronnie D lead in a single poll since the opening. Scott on the other hand has led only within the margin of error to declare it a tossup. I think +4 (which isn't bad at all) was his best showing. Nelson on the other hand has polled that margin more than a few times and higher. I'd call the Senate a tossup but people know Rick Scott is terribad and he had a month to slam Nelson unresponded and still barely led.

Florida has a rare opportunity for the old guard and the new blood to come together. As pertains to Gillum he's charismatic, exciting to listen to and confident. He has diffused his controversies well by publicly stating and giving his full cooperation.

As for Nelson this has to be his last term.

He diffused jackshit, wouldn’t answer the question at the debate and played the race card instead with the ‘people like me’ comment. He cant answer the question about Hamilton and Costa Rica because he is guilty.

Didn’t he receive the ticket from an undercover FBI agent? How come he could not answer the question if he is innocent? How hard is it to produce receipts and prove you paid your own way?

I'm not going to entertain ANOTHER conspiracy theory. Gillum is winning for 2 reasons.

1. He is running on health care.
2. DeSantis has spent the last month talking about how nice he is.
