Well is it? Cause they seem to categorically refute what your chamber mates were posturing in this very thread just a page ago.

But I understand the redirect. Let’s ignore that and post memes instead. Lol.

Ya big, *****, you.

The little fella still doesn't get it.

You have to be able to see the hypocrisy and see that our government/IC doesn't give a single **** about lives.

I don't agree with the equivalence of Iran's hostilities to that of Saudi Arabia.

But to the point if the Saudi regime was doing things like;
- shooting down our drones
- taking our sailors hostage to propagandize
- obstruct commercial shipping
- sponsor militias that carry out terror in the region
- have those militias attack US embassies resulting US deaths

Then I would expect a military retaliation from our government at some point to stop the aggression. It's called deterrence. Something you seem to be conveniently ignorant of.

What happened to Khashoggi was terrible. But he was a Saudi citizen (which is why he was at Saudi embassy in Turkey) and that didn't occur in a US controlled territory like an embassy or base. So again, not an equivalence I'd make to the Iranian regime.

From oldest to most recent...

Bills signed by Trump that I'm okay with:
Weather Research and Forecasting Innovation Act of 2017
American Law Enforcement Heroes Act of 2017
Department of Veterans Affairs Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act of 2017
Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act
Rapid DNA Act of 2017
FDA Reauthorization Act of 2017
Veterans Appeals Improvement and Modernization Act of 2017
Continuing Appropriations Act, 2018 and Supplemental Appropriations for Disaster Relief Requirements Act, 2017
Department of Veterans Affairs Expiring Authorities Act of 2017
Women, Peace, and Security Act of 2017
Elder Abuse Prevention and Prosecution Act
Dr. Chris Kirkpatrick Whistleblower Protection Act of 2017
Veterans' Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act of 2017
Power and Security Systems (PASS) Act
Enhancing Veteran Care Act
Law Enforcement Mental Health and Wellness Act of 2017
Thomasina E. Jordan Indian Tribes of Virginia Federal Recognition Act of 2017
Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief and Consumer Protection Act
Trickett Wendler, Frank Mongiello, Jordan McLinn, and Matthew Bellina Right to Try Act of 2017
Childhood Cancer Survivorship, Treatment, Access, and Research Act of 2018
Small Business Investment Opportunity Act of 2017
Department of Energy Research and Innovation Act
Nuclear Energy Innovation Capabilities Act of 2017
Veterans' Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act of 2018
Know the Lowest Price Act of 2018
Patient Right to Know Drug Prices Act
America's Water Infrastructure Act of 2018
SUCCESS Act
9/11 Heroes Medal of Valor Act of 2017
No Hero Left Untreated Act
First Step Act of 2018
Modernizing Recreational Fisheries Management Act of 2018
Veterans Small Business Enhancement Act of 2018
Justice Against Corruption on K Street Act of 2018
Forever GI Bill Housing Payment Fulfillment Act of 2018
Nuclear Energy Innovation and Modernization Act
Emergency Supplemental Appropriations for Humanitarian Assistance and Security at the Southern Border Act, 2019
HAVEN Act
Veterans' Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act of 2019
Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture Act

I'm not including any EO's. Generally speaking, I don't like EO's and the fact that they are being used increasingly by each successive POTUS since EO's became a thing. I can understand the reason/need for some, but the amount of EO's the past few presidents have signed has become ridiculous. I could probably name a few EO's I have liked, but we're discussing legislation. Not EO's.

I'm also not including treaties, trade agreements (USMCA for example), tariffs, or SCOTUS nominations that have been confirmed (although, I will say I've liked what I've seen from both his nominations so far).

I was not happy that the GOP controlled Congress couldn't agree on healthcare legislation to repeal/replace the ACA nightmare when they had the chance mainly thanks to one Senator whom I'm sure I don't need to name.

So there you go. No real earth-shattering legislation on my list above. But, as I said before, if a Bill doesn't reach the POTUS's desk, he can't sign it.

Is like when someone argued that Lindsey Graham wanted war and thus we were going to war?

So according to this story that doesn't cite a source, Senators like Graham threatened Trump with flipping on impeachment in order to get full scale war with Iran?

Is that right?

I’m referring to the referential way that JB talks about the strength of Iran’s military and their giant, precise missiles. Comes off as super weird. Like he is writing on behalf of a Iranian state-controlled media propaganda machine.

ProPublica has obtained property tax documents, using New York State’s freedom of information law, and sure enough, it appears there’s two sets of books, one to appease the IRS and another one to lure lenders.

Excuse me but just because someone subscribes to conservative values doesn't mean they sold out to Trumpism.

Any more than the run of the mill liberal subscribes to Socialism....

What is Trumpism exactly? How is Trump not a moderate Republican? What has he done that’s extreme? I mean, were Conservatives selling out to Reagan and the Bushes when they were in office?

You just lap up as much MSM propaganda you can find, regurgitate it back to us, and think your smart with some nuanced opinion regarding Trump that you developed on your own.

I think you are one of the only one on the board (correct me if I'm wrong here) who thinks that Trump is a moderate Republican. Even Chef goes off on how he's changed the game for the party.

if you want a list of all of the things he's done differently than typical conservatives/ Republicans would back, just scroll through every single thread in this section. Every thread devolves into a Trump thread in some sense and both sides highlight what makes him different.

In some aspects he's extreme right, others he's moderate, and some he's pretty far left compared to where the party typically stands. Couple that with his outrageous social media presence and his cult followers. He's like nothing we've ever seen in politics.

Ok. Name one extreme right policy. You describe him as extreme right, moderate and extreme Liberal. This makes no sense but let’s say it’s true: wouldn’t that just average out to being moderate?

True, his social media presence is like nothing we have seen. But I am talking policy here. How is his policies extreme right or extreme Left. Can you or Selmon name one? Name one piece of extreme legislation with his signature.

You should read it again.

No where did I say "he's an extreme liberal". I was speaking to policies and stances, but of all things you ask what he has done that would be considered extremely on the right?

You are either playing dumb or digging for some sort of angle.

You edited it before I quoted I see...Now it's a bit more fair.

His big government stances are further left than ever before, even with the party shifting that way presently.

His rhetoric, nationalism, immigration stance, tax, military spending are all from right to far right.

You think everything he's done has been right in the center?

Again, he has governed as a moderate. You cite no specific far Left or Right legislation or policy. You just speak in generalities. You talk about his rhetoric. It’s extreme I guess. Well, that’s your opinion.

You say his ‘big government stances are further Left than ever before, even with the party shifting that way presently.’ That sounds like a description of a moderate, not-extreme Republican to me. And then you talk about his ‘far-right’ ‘rhetoric’ on things like ‘tax’ ‘military spending’ ‘Nationalism’ ‘Immigration.’

Sorry, I think this is ridiculous. The tax cut was not far right. Enforcing the border is not far right. I don’t think taking pride in your country is far right. If he is ‘far right’ in his military spending was Obama ‘far Left’ in his? I think this is nothing but your opinion. In your opinion, his rhetoric is far right except when he talks about big government then it is far Left I guess.

In my opinion, the only rhetoric that struck me as far right was the Muslim ban. As far as far Left rhetoric or action...I don’t know...banning flavored e-cigs maybe?

Politics aside, is it really a bad thing when politicians actually do what their base elected them to do? Especially since it is usually the exception more so than the rule?

Politics aside, is it really a bad thing when politicians actually do what their base elected them to do? Especially since it is usually the exception more so than the rule?

Normally yes , Trump isn’t a true conservative , I know that doesn’t matter , but having a liberal black President is what has created Trump. He is a Propped up puppet imo . But hey it’s working for them , they have a lot of conservative judges now .

I’ve posted many times that I don’t like the constant tweeting and him acting like a petulant child as well as did not vote for him. But really do it was more a vote against your girl than backlash from Obama.

America was so angry about being subjected to a black president that it angrily elected him again. But also an old white woman lost so America is still racist.

JB the homophobe, who has also posted racist stuff in this forum, I can specifically recall him making vile comments about African-American hair texture, is lecturing the country about being prejudiced against a black man who they elected to the Oval twice. Too rich.

He doesn’t realize the Democrat party wants nothing to do with him. AOC would cancel his ass.
