tell me how having the lungs filter out smoke is healthy? I guess lung cancer is baseless and false ?

"Nothing healthy about it".

Yes, smoking is the most unhealthy application and it is bad for your lungs, but to make an encompassing statement that there's nothing healthy about it is stupid and Science is completely against you. Go read the thread where people have outlined the benefits of marijuana.

That's like saying there's nothing healthy about tomatoes because they can cause acid reflux.

Weed should definitely be decriminalized- tax dollars shouldn't be wasted jailing people for it.

That said, weed is more harmful than aot of people think. There is a very strong correlation between marijuana use and mental health/depression issues, and folks don't want to acknowledge that.

But there's no proven causation. In fact studies have shown that it does not cause it. Your statement isn't completely false because there is a correlation as in people with depression/mental health issues are more drawn to use marijuana, but that doesn't equate to being unhealthy.

I don't smoke it, but here you go...

Possible harms of marijuana
Marijuana can also pose some harms to users. While the most common effect of marijuana is a feeling of euphoria ("high"), it also can lower the user’s control over movement, cause disorientation, and sometimes cause unpleasant thoughts or feelings of anxiety and paranoia.

Smoked marijuana delivers THC and other cannabinoids to the body, but it also delivers harmful substances to users and those close by, including many of the same substances found in tobacco smoke.

Because marijuana plants come in different strains with different levels of active compounds, it can make each user’s experience very hard to predict. The effects can also differ based on how deeply and for how long the user inhales. Likewise, the effects of ingesting marijuana orally can vary between people. Also, some chronic users can develop an unhealthy dependence on marijuana.

No mention that smoking marijuana is linked to causing cancer but plenty of evidence that it helps cancer patients.

Source: https://www.cancer.org/treatment/treatm ... ancer.html

WebMD mentions why some doctors think that smoking marijuana MAY be harmful. But there is no evidence that is the case. Yet.

Right. But for a homeless advocate to be preying on the homeless people there, it's next level fucked.

It's a microcosm of humanity, man. The more capable exploiting the insane and destitute with total disregard to their well being.

It seems common sense to me that you develop lung cancer by inhaling combusted, dead vegetation into your lungs. I don’t need a decades long study following pot smokers to prove that to me.

I do have a history of lung cancer in my family so that’s why I mostly dab and vape, along with the more potent effects and better taste and aroma you get.

I have a coworker who is a mormon telling me that legal pot is why there's so many homeless in Denver.

No ****, Mr. Prophet. You wanna be homeless in Utah or homeless in Colorado?

"Homeless in Utah so I don't have to be around crazy people on weed"

Ima kill this dude.

Mormonism is 19th century Scientology.

You should definitely kill someone with a different opinion.

Mormons are nice people imo. Their religion is a bit whacky, but nice people for the most part.

The question in this thread title is wrong. It should say:

"Should the government end prohibition of marijuana?"

How is Mormonism like Scientology? I ask because I don’t know as much about Mormonism as I do about Scientology. Do they have a figure like Xenu the Intergalactic Warlord in Mormonism?

They get to be God of thier own planet in the afterlife.

I'm being too tough on the Mormons though. I served with a few overseas and they were some of the most honest and trustworthy people I knew during that time. The holy underwear is a bit offputting though.

I hope they tax it 5 times more than my cigarettes, they've done bled me enough...

I'm gonna laugh when they put a filter on the hoglegs.

Somebody is going to put an automatic THC vap machine in their car and then run around picking up strangers so they can tell them their defroster is messing up.
