Apparently Trump made a commitment to support states rights on marijuana

Let’s see if it actually comes to fruition

Trump also made a commitment to federal marijuana reform during the election. I didn't believe him then and I don't believe him now.

He has huge support from the acolytes who think weed is a sin and increasing shareholder value is a holy virtue.

I'd be stunned if he went there.

But now that the DoJ is allowing the Monsanto-Bayer merge we might be getting closer to a place where it's legal, but just not legal to grow your own.

Anyone get your medical card yet in FL? I heard them talking about it on the radio it's actually super easy to get like in CO or CA. I was thinking about getting it so I could smoke with mdb's mom, again.

I prefer flower too but the oil/ extract "can" be as easy as twisting a cartridge on a battery.. not to mention how nice it is to be oderless.

I've had pens, they're alright but the high is different. And for me it doesn't seem as potent. Wax and shatter are ****ing insane but too expensive here to be practical for a daily smoker. I smoke probably 6 bowls of flower a day on average, and I'll run through a G of good wax in like two or three days.

I just took my first bong hits in a couple months and I literally wanted to puke. It’s all dabbing concentrate for me from here on out.

In legal states it’s not so bad because you can shop around and buy when there’s a sale. I got a dispensary a couple miles away where I can get shatter for $30 a gram, tax included.

Of course it SHOULD be legalized...and it WILL be eventually.

The fact is that Fox "news" and Republicans still consider it the "demon weed" and until those old fucks die off and/or leave office, "recreational" use will still be illegal. Especially here in the south.

You conservative, inbred, pedophiles (and you know who you are), need to off yourselves and let the rest of us ADVANCE as a species.

Sayin'...

100 percent true, bro. I’ve gotten that price for extract made by Tryke and Kabunky’s affiliate Farm Direct. I actually just bought 3 grams for $99 at another place on Saturday. Got a gram of Banana OG, Skywalker OG and Chloe. If you look up who developed the Chloe strain, you’ll know where I went to get this deal.

So my stalking snowflakes would rather try to bother me than discuss the topic. I’ll just move on to another thread so this one doesn’t devolve into a bait fest.

I agree with Chuck Shumer on something. I actually agree with the entire thread he posted on twitter, but the bolded part did amuse me.

THREAD: It’s official. Today, I am formally announcing my plan to decriminalize marijuana at the federal level. It’s time we allow states, once and for all, to have the power to decide what works best for them.

I have long believed that states should function as their own laboratories of democracy. My bill is a step in the right direction aimed at removing the barriers to state legalization efforts.

So why have I changed my stance? Looking at the numbers helped. 2/3 of Americans believe marijuana should be legalized, meanwhile more than half of all drug arrests in the United States are marijuana arrests.

Image

And under existing law, the federal government considers marijuana as dangerous as heroin and treats it less favorably than cocaine. That has to change.

In addition to decriminalization, my bill will invest critical resources into the THC research needed to prevent unintended effects on our youth and ensure highway safety.

it's a downright shame more people don't see the 50 states as a loose union in accordance with the constitution which would lead to that bolded part that Schumer said.

But everybody has the answer for everybody else. everything has to be federal now.

and we are incredibly worse off for it.

The Constitution wasn't meant to make the country that loose of a union. It was meant to create a stronger federal/centralized government than the one put in place by the Articles of Confederation and to reign in the craziness of the states not having any checks on their individual powers. However, they did the brilliant thing of creating the checks and balances between the three branches of gov't to not consolidate too much power into one gov't body and to force the branches to rely upon one another to get things done. We've just mostly forgotten our civics lessons and forgotten the motto of the US: E Pluribus Unum.
