Greatest American of the 21st century

Postby Mountaineer Buc » Sat Dec 09, 2017 8:54 am

Write in candidates are allowed.

Winner of this poll will enter playoff bracket against the winners of the other 3 polls and the top two overall runners up will get a wild card berth. Seeding is based on total votes. Older candidates win tiebreakers for seeding.

I went with Musk here. The dude is practically single-handedly driving the space industry forward by sheer force of will. And money, of course.

The fact that the "cash me outside girl" is on this list bothers me, doesn't surprise me..... Bothers me though

Yeah...The comedic effect really doesn't work if the goal was to be serious with this. For influence upon culture alone, Mark Zuckerberg would have been a good choice. Or perhaps even Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos?

Im going to write in Andrew Breitbart.

His vision for the future of news and broadcasting changed the game. His influence is growing steadily. The man who owns the conservative, anti-swamp movement. His legacy and vision carry his influence.

If ****ing things up is within the criteria for greatness, we may as well just hand the award to Art Laffer now and get it over with.

I thought BigIrv meant to write that in blue.

Last I noticed, Irv was an Evangelical. Maybe you're right and he was being facetious, he'll have to say so because I couldn't tell.

I'll cast my vote to the biker or bikers who thought it was a good idea to get as many of his/their leather clad buddies as possible to stand by like a picket line during the funeral of a marine because those **** tards from Westboro Baptist were going to protest. We must not forget that the greatest Americans are not always our politicians, businessmen or celebrities, they're amongst us in every day life. Trust me I know this post is probably coming off more than a little bit "holy roller" but I'm being dead serious here. I have a thousand reasons for both agreeing and disagreeing with our presence in the Middle East and war in general but you DO NOT disrespect the military -especially not in death.

I applaud the people who exposed those chickenshit frauds at Westboro for what they really are

Looking back over a few of his posts I think you were correct initially. He was serious.
