I’m part of a group looking to address housing affordability in Dallas. This group includes State Reps and several councilmen. Dallas is absolutely facing a housing affordability crisis since companies relocated here.

it depends what part you are looking at....most of the metroplex is incredibly affordable compared to other major cities...there are certainly pockets that have limited space available for new projects and great public schools were housing is rising...but they appear to be the exception...I live in one of those areas.

Not to mention every suburb is continuing to build and our supply is dramatically increasing.

The list of companies raising their wages or giving bonuses continues to grow.

Let's hope it continues into the future and isn't a one off.
