If anyone has prayers, send them my family's way. Mom is currently in surgery.

She's in recovery right now. It's going to be a long rehab, as she had bypass surgery to replace a valve at 72. I'm enourmously happy that the surgery went well but myself and my 2 siblings are attempting to help out my Dad while they get over this next few months.

Thanks Rocker, btw. Every little bit helps and I was pretty nervous. I appreciate you sending the good vibes my family's way.

That's good news about the surgery, and I'm sure your Dad appreciates the company just as much as the extra hands. We'll say an extra prayer for a swift recovery and return to full health. Mothers are precious; I'm glad to hear you get more time with yours.

Lord,

You got Chip now .. Thanks for the time we had .. and amount of shear joy and passion he brought. He did his job, and told his last joke.

In Your time

Always

I posted this on his page last night ... knowing today will be very hard .. Usually softball fields are full of players, and by now, he's got a bag of bats. Today lil Slimey has a new normal. Naturally she won't go today .. and i truly pray she picks the bat up again soon .. but children grieve differently, and I can see scenarios where she walks away. Regardless, the prayer of new covers his family ........ and ours

Isaiah asks us to forget the past (or the former things). That's a challenge sometimes .. but we need to be challenged.

Enjoy the new... we should.. and will ..

One day all of this will make sense

Hello folks.

It was a sad episode that brought me back here after so long and I came here at Croc's direction.
The word says that the prayers of the righteous availeth much, and nothing can be truer than that.
I have had many opportunities in recent years to fast and pray for both family and friends.
God has been merciful enough to have listened and at this point both myself and others have seen His hand move.
God may not always grant us what we want, but he will grant us what we need. We just need to see it as such.
I will keep these prayer requests in my heart and will check here as often as I can so I can throw a little something from my end at The Lord.

Take care.

Hi guys,

I came across this thread and I just want to say that I really need some prayer warriors/intersessors to pray on me and my family's behalf! We are going through some stuff right now and the enemy is relentless. But I know that my Father will fight this battle for me and HE can not loose. In fact, Daddy is undefeated!

I am doing my part by praying day and night, fasting etc. I am hopefull BECAUSE I have faith. I am giving thanks although I am going through my tribulations.

But I need some help to stay the course because this human flesh does get weak sometimes! Just remember me; your brother from The Bahamas the next time you pray.

Thank you.

Have a bless day.
