Welp, this is what I have ben saying for over a year now. Trump is basically back at his highest approval rating. It has one up since this article was written, but this one also contain congressional numbers that are important.

The % of people who want the Dems to win control of Congress has dropped 10%, to now a small margin of 49% to 43%. Point blank, the ‘Trump sucks’ message doesn’t move the needle on the people who need it. It plays for the base and we know it worked so well for Hilary on the general.

The party better start figuring out how to connect with Americans and fast.

**** I would love if they would do that...

Yup. America already knows he sucks. What do Democrats offer than not being Trump?

London (AFP) - A surge of stabbings in London was blamed Monday for the city overtaking New York's monthly murder tally for the first time in modern history.

Fifteen people were murdered in London during February, compared to 14 in New York, according to police figures.

The British capital also suffered 22 fatal stabbings and shootings in March, higher than the 21 in New York.

There have been 10 fatal stabbings in London in the last 19 days, following on from the 80 fatal stabbings recorded in the city last year.

London's murder rate has grown by nearly 40 percent in three years, while police figures show that New York's has fallen by 87 percent since 1990, raising pressure on mayor Sadiq Khan and Metropolitan Police chief Cressida ****.

Despite the recent surge, New York, which has a slightly smaller population than London, has still suffered more murders since the start of the year.

The right-wing Daily Express tabloid on Monday ran with a headline urging "Sadiq act now!"

Sean Yates, Scotland Yard's head of knife crime, said part of the rise could be blamed on courts not enforcing the "two strikes" law aimed at jailing those caught with a knife twice.

Police chief **** meanwhile blamed social media for the soaring rate, with 31 fatal stabbings so far this year.

"There's definitely something about the impact of social media in terms of people being able to go from slightly angry with each other to 'fight' very quickly," she told the Times on Saturday.

WSJ says the top 20% are going to pay 87% of the taxes.

Makes sense to me since they have about 87% of the money.

Yep, this could go anywhere. If Trump is actually trying to target China and balance the crap they do to our imports in a reasonable way I would support it. Between their tariffs on our goods, their currency manipulation and govt subsidies to their businesses our trade with them is clearly imbalanced

However, I have nearly zero faith in Trump doing this from a long term pragmatic and diplomatic perspective

This is going to come down to two egotistical maniacs seeing who will blink first

Wake me up when Don moves any of the family businesses' manufacturing jobs to 'Merica. Since, you know, he wants to bring jobs back to 'Merica and make 'Merica white great again.

More legislation to control permisible language.

Every one who by communicating [nonprivate] statements wilfully promotes hatred against any identifiable group is guilty of an indictable offence and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years; or an offence punishable on summary conviction.

I lived in Bury St. Edmunds and a little town called Beck Row while in the UK. We were repeatedly told that it was illegal to carry; knives, bats, heavy objects, retractable asps, or any item that would be used as a weapon. We were also told not to hide knives under our bed or have a bat beside the bed as that could be perceived as a preemptive escalation of force if an individual were to enter your home. We were told that the police were the only ones to use force and regardless of our training or specialty, we were not to retaliate with force. The second week I was there a Gypsy shot someone the face with a shotgun...about two weeks later an American was stabbed to death in their home. I remember thinking, "Who the **** would actually follow that?"

How about a tweet from the Mayor of London? That legit enough?

It's being reported by more than Fox News.

Hey MB - what do you think of this small idea for helping lessen income inequality and helping improve income mobility? It’s just a small thing but everything helps right?

Depends on the profession.

I dont give a rip if somebody wants to do hair or some sort of low proficiency trade like that. But certain professions, such as the building trades should still have some minimum requirements.

Maybe...just maybe somewhere where both side can agree a little. The right gets less government involvement and the left gets an improvement in income inequality.
