lmfao heard Ronan Farrow on NPR on the way in this morning talking about the article he just released on The New Yorker... Weinstein hired Israeli ex-Mossad agents (their CIA for those that don't know) working for company called Black Cube who used incredible resources to create fake personalities and fake companies to coerce, leverage influence, and threaten anybody who was going to speak out against this systematic, multi-industry abuse.

https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/harvey-weinsteins-army-of-spies
Two private investigators from Black Cube, using false identities, met with the actress Rose McGowan, who eventually publicly accused Weinstein of rape, to extract information from her. One of the investigators pretended to be a women’s-rights advocate and secretly recorded at least four meetings with McGowan. The same operative, using a different false identity and implying that she had an allegation against Weinstein, met twice with a journalist to find out which women were talking to the press. In other cases, journalists directed by Weinstein or the private investigators interviewed women and reported back the details.

The explicit goal of the investigations, laid out in one contract with Black Cube, signed in July, was to stop the publication of the abuse allegations against Weinstein that eventually emerged in the New York Times and The New Yorker. Over the course of a year, Weinstein had the agencies “target,” or collect information on, dozens of individuals, and compile psychological profiles that sometimes focussed on their personal or sexual histories. Weinstein monitored the progress of the investigations personally. He also enlisted former employees from his film enterprises to join in the effort, collecting names and placing calls that, according to some sources who received them, felt intimidating.

The contracts also show some of the techniques that Black Cube employs. The agency promised “a dedicated team of expert intelligence officers that will operate in the USA and any other necessary country,” including a project manager, intelligence analysts, linguists, and “Avatar Operators” specifically hired to create fake identities on social media, as well as “operations experts with extensive experience in social engineering.” The agency also said that it would provide “a full time agent by the name of ‘Anna’ (hereinafter ‘the Agent’), who will be based in New York and Los Angeles as per the Client’s instructions and who will be available full time to assist the Client and his attorneys for the next four months.” Four sources with knowledge of Weinstein’s work with Black Cube confirmed that this was the same woman who met with McGowan and Wallace.

McGowan said that the agencies and law firms enabled Weinstein’s behavior. As she was targeted, she felt a growing sense of paranoia. “It was like the movie ‘Gaslight,’ ” she told me. “Everyone lied to me all the time.” For the past year, she said, “I’ve lived inside a mirrored fun house.”

if you're at all interested in geopolitics and still don't get that the truth is stranger than fiction, you need to wake up and see the bigger picture. the world, and everything you see are steered by this sort of activity, and the sort of activity also described by John Perkins in Confessions of an Economic Hitman.

Japan's 'Black Widow' to be hanged for men's deaths

A one-time millionairess dubbed the "Black Widow," who tricked elderly lovers into drinking cyanide and then pocketed millions in insurance payouts and inheritance, was sentenced to death in Japan on Tuesday.

Kyoto District Court condemned Chisako Kakehi, 70, to the gallows for the murder of three men — including a husband — and for the attempted murder of another, ending a high-profile case that has gripped the country.

Kakehi became notorious after using poison to dispatch a number of elderly men she was involved with, drawing comparisons with the spider that kills its mate after copulation.

"The accused made the victims drink a cyanide compound with a murderous intention in all four cases," Judge Ayako Nakagawa told the court, according to public broadcaster NHK. "The cases were well prepared in advance. They were cunning and malicious. I have no choice but to impose the ultimate penalty."

Nakagawa rejected defense lawyers' arguments that Kakehi was not criminally liable because she was suffering from dementia.

More than 560 people queued for 51 seats in the courtroom to witness the outcome of the marathon trial, which lasted 135 days.

It was the second-longest court case involving a jury since Japan introduced a joint judge-jury system in 2009.

'Love of money'

Gray-haired Kakehi, wearing a hearing aid headphone, asked the judge to speak loudly. She showed no emotion when the judge handed down the sentence.

The court said she killed the men after they made her the beneficiary of life insurance policies that reportedly ran into millions of dollars.

"For the love of money," the accused poisoned the victims who fully trusted her, the judge said.

Kakehi reportedly amassed one billion yen ($8.8 million) in payouts over 10 years but subsequently lost most of the fortune through unsuccessful financial trading.

She had relationships with many men, mostly elderly or ill, meeting some through dating agencies, where she reportedly stipulated that prospective partners should be wealthy and childless.

Kakehi, also known as "The Poison Lady," is said to have stashed some of her cyanide in a plant pot she later threw out.

The poison was found in the body of at least two of the men she was involved with and police reportedly found traces of cyanide in the trash at her Kyoto home.

They also found paraphernalia for administering drugs and medical books at an apartment she kept south of Kyoto.

Kakehi initially refused to speak when her trial began in June but later stunned the court by admitting killing her fourth husband in 2013.

"I killed him... because he gave other women tens of millions of yen but did not give me even a penny," she told the court, according to Jiji Press.

She had earlier told judges she was ready to be hanged.

"Even if I were executed tomorrow, I would die smiling," Kakehi told judges.

After Tuesday's ruling, her lawyers immediately appealed to a higher court, suggesting the high-profile trial could yet drag on.

google says Delaware, New Hampshire, and Washington all have hanging legalized for state executions.

Could've sworn that Wyoming still did it. I remember reading somewhere that Florida's "Ol' sparky" was built with the wood from the gallows.

Good night for Dems last night winning Governor races in both New Jersey and Virginia. Both states went to Hillary in the general last November as well, but Virginia is a key swing state and winning last night was an important win for Dems.

Stupid people want to be outraged at stupid things. It then leads to these sort of instances where people think faking an attack would somehow prove their point even though it has the exact opposite effect. Human nature. Unfortunately, it means that legitimate issues are overlooked because it's easy to just lump it all together as if its all just some orchestrated plot.

LMFAO it just gets better every day

Yes, send us nude pictures of yourself so we can put them in a database to protect you.

What could possibly go wrong???

https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/nov/07/facebook-revenge-porn-nude-photos

Facebook asks users for nude photos in project to combat revenge porn
Facebook is asking users to send the company their nude photos in an effort to tackle revenge porn, in an attempt to give some control back to victims of this type of abuse.

Individuals who have shared intimate, nude or sexual images with partners and are worried that the partner (or ex-partner) might distribute them without their consent can use Messenger to send the images to be “hashed”. This means that the company converts the image into a unique digital fingerprint that can be used to identify and block any attempts to re-upload that same image.

Carrie Goldberg, a New York-based lawyer who specializes in sexual privacy, said: “We are delighted that Facebook is helping solve this problem – one faced not only by victims of actual revenge porn but also individuals with worries of imminently becoming victims.

PhotoDNA’s “hash” matching technology made it possible to identify known illegal images even if someone had altered them. Facebook, Twitter and Google all use the same hash database to identify and remove illegal images.

Hany Farid, a professor of computer science at Dartmouth who helped develop PhotoDNA, described Facebook’s pilot as a “terrific idea”.

“The deployment of this technology would not prevent someone from sharing images outside of the Facebook ecosystem, so we should encourage all online platforms to participate in this program, as we do with PhotoDNA,” he said.

There has been countless accounts of these false flag incidents of racism whether it be against jews or black folks. Just another example of the media giving too much attention to the fringe groups and how that inspires people to stage this nonsense.

It's sad b/c it desensitizes people to what should be very serious issues. Unfortunately victimhood and race-peddling has become big business for some people who use it it expand their platform.

I don't know if I've ever seen so much skepticism in an accusation before. Usually in cases like that it's guilty until proven innocent...and then still guilty (Jameis). I usually click on the Facebook trending topic to see the craziest responses, but people from both sides were skeptical. Many dems still said he was a shitty candidate and listed their reasons, but a lot of people question the reports/defended him or said, "Let's wait and see".

All that said, he's probably guilty.

edit: Of course there were some of the people responding, "He's a Christian, he's not capable of doing that" and "All white people/republicans do that", both satisfied my thirst for crazy responses.

This one killed me when I read what the Alabama State auditor, Jim Zeigler said

"Take Joseph and Mary. Mary was a teenager and Joseph was an adult carpenter. They became parents of Jesus."

What.... the.... ****. The excuse is quite literally that it's ok for Roy Moore because Jesus.

After a long pause, Alabama Bibb County Republican chairman Jerry Pow tells me he'd vote for Roy Moore even if Moore did commit a sex crime against a girl.

"I would vote for Judge Moore because I wouldn't want to vote for Doug," he says. "I'm not saying I support what he did."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alabama Covington County GOP Chairman William Blocker tells me Democrats convinced these women to tell a fake story to damage Moore.

I told him the 14-year-old became a Trump voter.

"That's the typical background or profile of somebody they would be using for that," he said.

"Yeah!" Covington County GOP Chairman William Blocker tells me he'd consider voting Moore even if hard proof of sexual abuse emerged.

"There is NO option to support to support Doug Jones, the Democratic nominee. When you do that, you are supporting the entire Democrat party."

Postscript: GOP officer who'd vote Moore even if he was a proven sex offender refused in 2015 to accept the legalization of gay marriage, saying "it's wrong."

What Kevin Spacey did is inexcusable and he's rightfully having his career ruined because of it. Meanwhile, Moore is about to be elected to the Senate because the same people that throw out Kevin Spacey as everything that's wrong with the liberal elite will turn a blind eye to Moore because he has an R next to his name on the ballot.

It just sickens me that guys like that are given a free pass.
