Fugh that cult Disney for messing up Marvel on Netflix.

Disney is the "new" Third Reich which began with Celebrity Station and starting their perfect community.

Getting more difficult not to want Disney+ for this alone:

****ing hilarious.

Rick and Morty is so awesome because it can be viewed as a stupid vulgar comedy or much deeper. The research they use to show their version of the Many Worlds Theory of Quantum Mechanics, the political/social references, the Easter eggs to other shows/ pop culture, or to the fact Rick knows he's on a show all ties together to make something brilliant that has infinite re-watchability.

The pop culture references are so damned subtle, my kids don't know them. Like the robot in the backseat of the ship when fascist Morty is making Rick fly him around. That was a very obscure He-Man reference.

The Big johnson T-Shirt here always cracked me up and there's no way my kids would have got that. ****ing awesome.

Gearhead has been in a few episodes, but yes.

There's countless references in every episode. There are also countless subplots to follow for those who like to theorize and watch shows on a super deep level....more so than even LOST.

Awesome show. Everyone should watch from the beginning. Especially if you are a fan of the 24/John Wick type plots where there's a dominant character. Rick is an unstoppable monster.

Caught an episode of Prodigal Son last night. The show is good. The commercials in between suck. And its one of those shows that builds into commercials which I absolutely hate.

Yep. That's what really peaked my interest. Up to then, it was just an okay sci-fi shoot-em up.

Watched the 1st episode last night and thought is was excellent. Movie quality production. I had to go back look-up the setting/timeline for when this show takes plays within the Star Wars chronology.

The ending was awesome. Very interested to see where it goes.

It was my understanding it takes place after Return of the Jedi but before Force Awakens. Probably closer to Return of the Jedi. Empire has fallen apart but the new order has not yet been made or is of any significance.

5 years after Return of the Jedi, 25 years before Force Awakens according to the writers.

edit: beat me to it.

Is it worth watching The Mandalorian if I’ve only seen Episode 4?

Haven't seen it but from what I've read, I think you're good to watch. May not get every reference but not like you need to be canon.

I think it can stand on it’s own but the ending will have more meaning to you if you watch V and VI first
