About $25.

Last year we had just recently moved in so I guess our house never gave out **** before? And we didn't have a lot of decorations out yet. This year we've got some stuff out, but still not many. Kids stopping here have gotten a huge handful of candy.

12 bucks on candy, took the kids around the block. Got sucker punched by nostalgia at one point. Really felt like Halloween.

Good call, because all of the cardboard homeless shelters are in the top left.

No Rain, not cold (humid and warm actually) and only one kid (that didn't even live directly in the neighborhood ... frequented his corner lemonade stand).

Sad thing is visiting others in the neighborhood, about half had decorations (to some degree) and most were doing hand fulls of candy as "we were the only ones so far".

One of the few general neighborhood community interactions we have in our society and it's nothing like when I grew up.
I thought we were making an upgrade with moving to this new neighborhood & Community, but this was a letdown.

Oh well, at least my nice (much older) immediate neighbors are a plus.

They postponed our trick or treat due to rain. Maybe when we were younger it seemed like more kids were coming.

Good call, because all of the cardboard homeless shelters are in the top left.

Those aren't homeless shelters. They're rent-controlled government subsidized homes for the housing challenged.

Yes. I saw S2 when it first aired last November on NatGeo, though. In S2, things really heated up between IMSF and Lukrum. I'm not sure why it isn't getting better ratings because it's really well done, imo, with compelling storylines and characters. I'm not sure if it's going to get a third season, but I hope it does.

Cool. I just watched E1... I love how they are setting up country versus company and the different “rules” they have to play by

so this weekend i took my daughter and two of her friends dirtbiking and hiking. We had four bikes so I had to pull my trailer along with putting bikes in the bed of my F150.

We had a great day hiking and riding...on the way back I'm driving down the highway and and all as cars as passing me they are honking and pointing backwards. I look back and see that the 3' gate on my utility trailer has fallen down and is dragging behind with sparks flying.

(type of trailer I have ... 5' by 8')

Both metal flanges on the sides of the gate had snapped off. I had to slide the gate off and put it under the bikes on the way home.

Luckily no one was following too close to me

It was YOU! I'll sue ya! My Wife nearly had a heart attack after that thing fell down and nearly smashed our hood in!

Both metal flanges on the sides of the gate had snapped off.

Were the tires putting pressure against the back gate and not tied off at the front?

Glad it all worked out, nobody hurt (and no lawyers involved!) :)

I think the flanges broke their welds just from the constant rattling and stress.

I don’t recall seeing stress cracks on them but I also wasn’t looking

Might I recommend Brioche Toasted (one side only, frying pan, butter) Honey Smoked Ham, Cheddar, Lettuce, Tomato, Mayo, & Spicy brown mustard.

Anyone else listen to Sports talk radio? I recently started listening to Spain and Company at nights. Not terrible. Decent guests and banter. Its more its just on at the time I'm driving so if anyone has any other suggestions, i'm all ears.

People love or hate Dan LeBatard.

I'm a big fan of his radio show. If you're okay listening to a sports talk show that often veers away from sports talk but is quite funny (IMO) give it a shot.

When I am out (3AM or 11PM-2 AM), I listen to the FS1 group. They are entertaining and informative. Something to keep me up.

I stream through IHeart radio

Until DN got me hooked on podcasts I listened to the sports drive show here in dallas...The Ticket...it's more geared towards joking and entertainment than sports though.
