Nothing wrong with ordering pizza, picking up a case of beer, and binge watching! You have three weeks, sir!

True. But binge watching just isn't for me. Too many other things I enjoy doing.

Ok well, don't be upset if people post about the show up until the present. It's not a spoiler if we are working on a new season... the old seasons become fair game.

Just finished Season 4...wow.

If you haven't seen Season 4: SPOILERS ahead.

One thing GoT does better than anyone is kill anyone. No one is safe. I was torn on the Hound dying, but absolute elated about Joffrey.

Jack Gleeson (Joffrey "Baratheon") was so good at acting the part that people were very negative towards him out in the real word. Kudos to him for portraying pompous ass to a tee.

For us readers, we knew about the hound's end. GRRM makes him likable, as does HBO. The way it happens though, that was a bit of creative freedom on the part of the producers.

Sunday!

Also, the Sand Viper's death (Oberyn?) was BRUTAL. I knew he would die once he started talking so much. Just kill him! Probably the most brutal single scene of the season.

Is Reek/Theon just completely and irreversibly broken now? That was just a sad story arch. Yes, he was an idiot, but no one deserves that type of torture. At this point there is no death his torturer could die that would atone for that level of physical and mental brutality.

First episode back was good.

Apparently the first 4 episode have leaked on the web. I have no interest in the leaks. The seasons already feel short, if I binge watch those 4 it will feel really short.

I'm hoping the dragons become a more integral part of the story. I suspect they will. They're freaking huge now. I wonder how big Drogon is and what he's up to.

Your willpower is stronger than mine. Then end of the 4th episode.......ouch.

But, now I have to wait a month for new episodes.

Agreed. Up to this point the dragons have been basically props waiting for a later date. Same can be said about the White Walkers.

What the hell is going on with this season?!

Definitely keeping it interesting for those who have read the books.

I haven't read the books. What has been so surprising about this season?

Basically, and without upsetting the masses, many of the storylines have been change to fit different characters. Most glaringly obvious is Jaime Lannister in Dorn. A close 1b would have to be Sansa Stark. Also, in the books, it is Tyrian who contracts grayscale and not Jorah Mormont.

In a way I am happy the directors are running a slight tangent with certain characters. I say this because the show will eventually....really soon....outrun the books, so it gives us book readers something to look forward to when the final 2-3 books are published.

I wish HBO would have done 15 episode seasons. I'm still holding on to the hope of a Coldhands and Lady Stoneheart.

Jon Connington is the character who contracts greyscale (grayscale?) in the books, Tyrion's just fine. His character seems to have been excised and molded into Jorah's story.

And I hate this season, for the most part. Awfully boring so far and I'm not digging the changes to the story the way I did back in season two.

This season and season 2 have been by far the worst. Last episode was decent, but it's been dragging.

Thanks, Tornado. It makes better sense now. It has been almost two years since I read the books.

It's just the build up. Things should get very interesting soon. I hope this season does not dip into Winds of Winter because rumor is that the book itself should be published prior to next season. C'mon Martin!

I don't think the season has been boring. I've quite liked several of the story lines going this season.

I've liked this season thus far as well. I am disappointed though with Jaimie Lannister's character not being present in King's Landing amidst the drama.

I like pairing Jaime and Bronn, but I don't think they could have done worse with Dorne. The Sand Snakes are the worst characters on this show yet and there's going to need to be some expedition of Doran's big play in the last four episodes, unless they're just cutting that entire thread.

I'm used to GoT's slow burn and I knew it wouldn't be as bananas after they finished most of Book 3's content, but what's happened so far? They killed off Selmy without him being able to be a badass - he's still alive in the books. They're going on some crazy tangent with the new Winterfell. The abandoned plotlines are starting to mount.

I'm the biggest GoT nerd, I did the recruitment of all family/friends to start watching... I just hope they're pulling the wool over my eyes, but it's not looking so hot for me.

I watched Season 1 and haven't kept up with the show. Saw this past week's episode and realized how far off the books they are, and I just don't get it. I suppose they must have finished up certain storylines in a different way than Martin so they needed to set those up, but practically every single one was changed in the episode I saw. Like... completely changed.

Last night's show--wow. The best was the epic battle, but a close second would be the interactions between Tyrion and Daenerys.
