I rarely eat at McDonald's but I thought The Founder was a pretty good movie. Pretty interesting how Ray Kroc turned McDonald's into what it is today, and how he fucked over the McDonald's brothers to do it.

Terrible sequel. It's just different from Original Independence Day

Did you expect any different? I knew going in it was a money grab... it wasn't good

I anticipated it being TERRIBLE. When I finally watched it out of boredom one night, it was terrible. But it was more entertaining than I thought at the same time.

My 13 year old daughter loved it.

Bond fans.

Watched Casino Royale last week which made it the first Bond flick I've seen since Goldeneye.

Most bond movies are self contained. Does this stay true? I'm debating skipping Quantum of Solace for now and jumping into Skyfall.

Will I lose anything by doing that?

Quantum of Solace picks up right where Royale ends, but its a **** movie. Filmed during the writer's strike so the director was making crap up as he filmed.

I say skip it.

So did my 13 yr old granddaughter. It's all about "target audience."

I mean, watching it wouldn't be a large investment. But you shouldn't lose anything by skipping it. It is the worst of the Craig era. I guess maybe you'd just miss out on them building up his broken soldier character.

What'd you think of Casino Royale? I loved it when it came out. I was an 18 yo boy so I thought it was "pretty pimpin". Saw it again recently and thought it was pretty great still - not sure if was colored with a bit of nostalgia though. Thought both Quantum and Skyfall were actually pretty dookie to be honest. Skyfall was just so hyped and was the definition of "meh" to me

I really enjoyed it. It downplayed Bond as the playboy and Craig was able to step up the physical stuff more than anyone before him. The villain was pretty typical in that he looked scary, he just wasn't a billionaire bad-guy with a secret fortress or a gimmicky henchman. what we got was the style, exotic locations, and so forth that we all know and love from the franchise, but without the gimmicky stuff that made Austin Powers so funny.

the biggest knock on it for me was all of the stuff Bond had to put up with between rounds of poker. Sorry, but I have to be defibrillated after getting poisoned, there's no way I'm going to show up back at the poker table an hour later looking dapper. That was the only real test of my suspension of disbelief.

If anything Skyfall is perceived much better because it was massively better than Quantum. I really enjoyed Skyfall. I also liked the new one but I'd put it 3rd in Craig's era.

I'd put Skyfall ahead of Casino Royale. I think Skyfall is the best Bond ever, and I've seen them all at least twice and read all of Fleming's books (and a few that others wrote,) so I don't say that lightly.

Same boat. But, for me, CR is tops. It revitalized that franchise.

Bridge of Spies...great movie...and the guy who played the Russian was either nominated for an Oscar or won it, can't remember.

Jerry Maguire

Still funny, still has its date movie feel.

Rod Tidwell 4yrs $11M and was celebrating. That and Barry Switzer coaching the Cowboys are all that reminds you of how old the movie is.

Waterworld. How did it manage to get a 42% on Rotten Tomatoes? Awful flick.
