Tonight. Grill salmon filets and asparagus....kids get pizza.
Saturday. Going to come into the office and work a bit and then run to lowes for seed.
Sunday. Coming into the office again if necessary then spending the afternoon planting the herb garden and squash & zucchini.

Daughter and granddaughter coming to town today thru Sunday. Yay! Other than attending a coed baby shower, I'm not sure what else we'll do. Well...besides drink beer and eat that is.

Any of my LOW folks good with multimedia?

I have an IPhone 6 and at the track today I was taking vids using the slo-mo function in the camera. The vids came out great. When I text them to people they play great in slo-mo but I uploaded it to YOUTUBE to share with my family and it plays it in regular speed.

Any ideas?

I love a good back and forth (OOCA) as much as the next guy (double OOCA?).

That said, that was a pretty dense .png I sent you. I'd be happy to discuss/coach/break down anything you have questions about. And I'm pretty sure I can help you out with a free Visio download if you need it. I'll have to touch base with some of my classmates that still have access to the portal...

I’ve got a big service project this week as it’s my schools spring break. I hope to get started with the serious digging into this next week.

Thanks again :)

I don’t remember the brand but when Zarni was a little boy playing baseball at the city hall fields, after every game I got those waxy pop bottles

I think lots of me can be explained by the amount of wax I ate when I got frustrated that the juice went so quickly

Lol

That's' okay. All things eaten will eventually pass. As a parent, I've seen this first hand. LOL!

Heard this quote (paraphrasing) on a podcast as I was driving....what are the thoughts of the LOW folks?

Most of the meaning that people acquire in their lives, and that would be the meaning you can offset against the tragedies of life, comes from adopting responsibility and carrying a load.

I'm having a hard time thinking of anything in my life that is meaningful that doesn't come from a responsibility that either my community (work, friends, church), my family or my own value framework puts on me.

If only we all had the capacity to offset the tragedies of life.

This is very similar to - in fact, it seems like a paraphrasing of - the concept of "earned success". Although I don't think meaning "offsets the tragedies of life"

It might be (thank you for drawing a parallel). But I can tell you from the context of the podcast it didn’t really have anything to do with that, it was a podcast from a psychologist about common reasons people struggle in life — mainly that they focus so much on the freedoms and rights and such that they neglect the responsibility part in their life and they fail to seek more out. For example anyone with kids will tell you providing for them gives one incredible meaning. Same with caring for ailing parents or partners. But the podcast went farther and suggested we should seek additional responsibilities at time.
