That's great. How was the rest of Greece? Did you cruise or just island hop on your own?

Flew from Tampa on Thursday. Tampa-Toronto-Athens-Santorini, got to Santorini Friday around noon (local, lost 7 hours).

Headed to Mykonos in the morning for a few days, then to Athens for a few more to wrap up the trip. Be back Sunday.

Man, I just found out one of the guys I race hare scrambles (Racing on trails in woods) with passed away at this weekend’s race. He’s in the pro division (top division that actually races for a few thousand dollars of prize money). He died from heat exhaustion. He was only 37 years old. He must have gotten disoriented because they found him 150 yards off the trails having shed all his gear and his camelback was empty. RIP

Hump Day Hitters:

Sausage or Bratwurst?
Tailgate or Pregame?
Music or talk shows?
You can only wear one or the other to support your team for the rest of your life: hat or jersey?
Lazy weekend choice: binge a series, or catch up on movies?
Tortillas: flour or corn?

Tailgate or Pregame? I wasn't 100% sure what difference you're implying here, so i went with the assumption that Pregame means watching the game at home.
Music or talk shows?

Up until the last two questions, all the options were centered around the activities associated with going to a sporting event.

Pregame v. tailgate was referring to whether you would hang out at the stadium prior to the game, or grab drinks at the bar.

Hump Day Hitters:

Sausage or Bratwurst?...BRATWURST (either is good, since both are just vehicles for carrying spicy mustard to my mouth)
Tailgate or Pregame?....TAILGATE (the food makes this easy)
Music or talk shows?.....MUSIC (game day talk radio is painful)
You can only wear one or the other to support your team for the rest of your life: hat or jersey?...HAT (not a jersey guy)
Lazy weekend choice: binge a series, or catch up on movies?....SERIES (not much to say here)
Tortillas: flour or corn?.....FLOUR (once again, just a vehicle for what's in it)

BONUS QUESTION: Alstott or Dunn? ALSTOTT (Dunn scamper. Alstott go boom. Boom fun. Me like boom.)

Hump Day Hitters:

Sausage or Bratwurst? Sausage. This is the correct answer, because all Brats are sausages. However, all sausages are not Brats.
Tailgate or Pregame? Tailgate
Music or talk shows? Music
You can only wear one or the other to support your team for the rest of your life: hat or jersey? Jersey
Lazy weekend choice: binge a series, or catch up on movies? ehh... I guess binge?

I have an authentic German deli by me. They only carry imported Germany brands of everything -- deli (most everything is frozen), boxed goods, canned goods, kitchen items, etc.

I hate their Brats...they are white and mushy. They aren't anything like the Brats I had when I was in Germany (but I was only in two cities in Germany). So I'm left befuddled.

OK, so I'll add a game as well. I just read an article on what workers are looking for. They compared Millenials to Gen X to Boomers

Here are six work attributes they studied and surveyed people.

1.) Potential for advancement
2.) job Security
3.) Strong company leadership (ethical, committed leaders)
4.) Work/Life balance
5.) Having a say in their company's future
6.) Role clarity - having a well defined job.

If you are so inclined, pick a generation (or all three) and rank order them from highest important to that generation to lowest (the ordinal rankings were different for all 3 generations)

Are they labeled as Brats? If so, that's weird. There's a German restaurant near me that has some pretty damn good sausages. One type, and I forget what it's called, matches your description and I hate them.

Edit: Bockwurst. **** those things.

I'll guess for Millenials.

1. Work/life balance.
2. Potential for advancement
3. Having a say in their company's future
4. Job Security
5. Strong company leadership
6. Role clarity

I thought this would be easier than it was. I feel pretty good about 1 and 6. I think Millennials value work/life balance more than previous generations do, and especially at younger ages. I also don't think role clarity is on the minds of most Millenials. 2-4, I think Millenials want the potential for bigger roles and advancement, but most of us have had 10+ jobs by the time we're 30, so I think job security gets kicked to the backburner a lot of times. I honestly wasn't sure where to put 5 but I think it only comes up in rare cases.

On a good note, they sell awesome sauerbrauten

---------------------------

i went to their website...you are right...they are labeled bockwurst....dumbass me...brain not reading what my eyes are seeing :P

https://www.germandeli.com/S-W-Bockwurs ... -Link-Pack

Next time I go to the store, I'm going to photo the package and I'll post it here. I guess I'm hopeful that they aren't labeled correctly.....LOL

This is pretty close to what I would have guessed for Millenials but every single one is off. I was shocked at what was #1 for Millenials...I was pretty close on my guesses for Xers and Boomers

Mind you, I should clarify...the survey was done in professional settings -- think corporate offices...not burger flippers

If the actual job distribution is skewed like that, job security and company leadership probably shoot up the board. But in that case, all are really important. It'd take a while for me to even complete the survey.
