man my life got a bit easier today. between my dirtbikes and my daughter's bikes i probably swap out a pair of tires about every 6 to 8 weeks or so. i generally had done it by hand using tire irons and it is the biggest pain in the butt there is. I always did it because the local KTM dealer charges about $30 per tire to do it.

A new discount motorcycle shop just opened up .... a local guy. So i thought i'd stop in and see what he has...I much prefer local businesses to the big guys. i got talking to him and he said if you bought tires from him (and his prices were great) and just brought in your wheels already taken off the bike he would install the news ones and get rid of your old ones for $5 a tire.

i've got a new tire friend

It’s my daughter’s birthday and I’m not with her. I’m officially 3/3 for missing at least one birthday for all my kids. Sigh.

Much like me, you gotta do what you do. Believe me, you're there for them. I know you're a great dad. Celebrate them when you get home, take S ton of pics, and they smile.

Tonight: D2, pack, cuppla badass beers.
Tomorrow: FLY HOME LIKE A BADASS. Belated birthday party for princess.
Sunday: low key badass. There’s a feral kitten roaming the backyard I may take to the shelter. Or keep. You never know with kittens.

I'm at my parents house for the weekend in Virginia. There comes a time when you need quality.

Drive up was great. I stopped by Mt. Airy to visit the Andy Griffith museum and the town. It was very quaint. Good memories of a show from long ago.

In the process of buying our new(current) house last year, there was a barn cat living in the garage with a little cat door out (owners hadn't lived in house for a year but were feeding it). According to the owners and neighbors, he was feral AF and nobody could get close to it. When my wife asked what was going to be done with the cat, they said "We'll take care of it". Not liking the sound of that, she decided to keep it. It's terrified of the dogs so it now lives upstairs (dogs are not allowed upstairs), and it is the biggest mush, attention hound, lap cat you ever met.

Bittersweet day/morning here at Casa Super K....

Our oldest daughter moved out today...first one to really go as our older son, while in college, isn't technically "gone" yet...

She's moving to Lancaster PA with her BF (he works pipeline) for the next 6 months...after that they are moving to Mississippi (where he's from)...they've bought some land and are gonna build a house...good dude, good morals, comes from a good family (not that all families don't have their share of craziness..ours DEFINITELY included)

And no I'm not cryin!!! My eyes just sweat a little in the summer time...geez

That's great though. Sounds like your little girl was raised right and knows what a good man is when she sees one. Good job, Dad.

The wife and I are headed to Greece for 10 days starting next Thursday. Landing in Athens, then straight to Santorini for a couple days, then to Mykonos for a couple more days, then back to Athens for the final few days before flying back.

First vacation since our daughter was born in Feb/2016 and with plans for a second child I doubt we'll have another couples only vacation for a long time, so I'm both excited for the vacation and sad about leaving my daughter for 10 days.

S a n t o r i n i

BIG bucket list item for me. Enjoy.

Pretty awesome place. Scenery is top notch. Food is great. Would definitely recommend!!!

Didn't realize Santorini and the surrounding islets used to be one larger landmass 3600 years ago before a devastating volcano transformed it to it's current geography.
