Today is probably not a good day for this discussion as I would assume many people are going more frequently.

In general? 1-2x / day I'd say is normal.

I have IBS. I average about 3-4 times on a normal day, although if something sets off my stomach(about once a week) I can go about 7-8+(More than 10+ times on rare occasions). What are your other symptoms tho? Increased bowl movement doesn't mean you have IBS. Do you get any pain, especially around your sides when you're having diarrhea(or pre-poop as the pain usually goes away after it)? What about issues such as trouble holding it or a sudden feeling that must go now?

Wow yea man that sounds like my numbers, pain when I'm going but not on my sides, sometimes I get that feeling that I have to go immediately. Started probably a year or so ago, kinda always thought it was something.

After reading about IBS, I will never complain about my enlarged prostrate again. Frequent urination is waaaaaay preferable to frequent bowel movements.

My sister in law has full blown Crohn 's disease.

Her digestive system is digesting itself. She's already lost a few feet of intestines and is currently rocking a colostomy bag.

She's 44.

I have IBS and you just get used to it after a while. I’m currently changing my diet based on others who have seen their IBS die down based on diet and exercise.

I have crohn's but luckily not a terrible case of it. I just have to stay away from blue cheese and oysters or I'll be in insane pain for a few days. Because it's a spasming pain, it basically feels like being repeatedly stabbed in the lower right section of my stomach with a dull knife for about 2-3 days.

I was diagnosed IBS at 15 years old. 20 years later diagnosed with full blown celiacs. IBS resolved 90% once I was off gluten/dairy/corn for 6 months. I feel better now than ever.

I've also got the ol' IBS. It's not fun. I haven't noticed any dietary causes or remedies other than that the better I eat in terms of the healthiness the better the symptoms are.

The worst I get from it is really bad acid reflux. To the point that I can't really do anything.
