Got all fancy pants last night and had Anchor brewing's Brewers pale ale.

Nothing super crazy about it, it was just a real nice quality beer.

I love those west coast brewers.

So I told my wife, my new lil Whiskey girl, to grab a bottle for us...not our usual Crown Vanilla, lower shelf stuff..figured she'd come home Seagram's or something...

She brought home Imperial whiskey...O...M...G...this is the worst **** I've ever drank in my entire life...

Worse than TBird..worse then Mad Dog..worse than Boone Farm...

Holy ****...

A couple of rocks will make almost any whiskey drinkable. Worst case mix it with ginger ale.

Rebel Yell is one of those rare, drinkable whiskeys at the $25 a 1.75L. price point.

Best fifth I ever bought for a low-low price was Henry McKenna.

Was a nice little bourbon for $15.

A little bit of Chivas 18 year old.

I don't talk about personal things much here but my mom passed on Super Bowl Sunday this year. She left behind an oceanfront bar in Ormond by the Sea, which as of today I am in full ownership of. So, I grabbed a bottle of scotch off the rack and had a few snorts with my neighbors. I don't drink much anymore, but it seemed appropriate. Here's lookin at you, Ma.

Been there. Lost my mom in 16 the night Jameis whipped Russell Wilson the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

Swig of grapefruit shandy in your mom's honor.

The cheap **** I’m having tonight would be a dishonor to your mother’s memory. Still, I’ll keep you and her in my thoughts and tip something appropriate in the coming days.

Thanks for sharing.

Love me some Kona. Longboard goes down a bit too easy though... lol.

You've been warned.

Preaching to the choir. Had a 4 hour layover in Tucson a couple years ago and the airport Chili's had longboards on tap for happy hour.
