Picked up a fifth of Rum Heaven cocnut rum that came with a free bottle of pineapple juice yesterday with the intent of giving the missus something to sip on, but I'll admit that I'm gonna have 1 or 2 myself.

Will probably do Vodka w/ Ruby Red Grapefruit juice and polish off the Bud limes that I picked up earlier (they were BOGO at Winn Dixie)

Note: Bud Light Orange tastes like a Sunkist that has been ever so slightly spiked. It's as bad as you imagine, so don't waste your money.

I put limes in all sorts of beers so I can handle the artificial stuff in small doses on an annual basis.

I guess anything to disguise the taste of a Budweiser is a good thing.

Bud heavy I can do pretty easily. Bud Light (or as I like to call it Great Value beer) is the only beer I can think of that isn't better on tap. Drink it from a bottle and it's like eating potato chips.

Michelob....yeah, regular Michelob needs a comeback. Mich light whips Bud Light IMO
Bud Select.......ehh boring
Bud Platinum is awful
Bud Ice is **** in a can, but doable in a bottle.
Busch and Busch light are better than their reputations and should be offered in a bottle more often.
Natty is not worth the money.

Miller high life is a poor man's Landshark if you drop a lime in it. My go to cheap beer
Miller Lite is just too bland even compared to Bud Light.
For the life of me, I do not understand why Miller will not push Miller Genuine Draft anymore. It's the best stuff they make and I can't get it own here. WTF?

Coors butter beer upsets my stomach
Coors light when I am feeling cheap and want something different

Wife doesn't like PBR so I don't buy it much.
I haven't had a Milwaukee's Best in about 20 years an I'm probably better off for it.

Yuengling whips everything on this list easily.

Cheap beer - High Life

Regular beer - Miller Lite, PBR, Dogfish SeaQuench when I can find it

Livin’ it up beer - Carlsberg. Elephant preferably, but that’s been getting harder to find.

My list of Imports

Becks is better on a hot day than you think
I should drink more Heineken, but for some reason, I don't
I love Guinness, but with each passing year it becomes more of a shadow of what I know a real Guinness actually tastes like.
Dos Equis Amber is the crown jewel of Mexico's offerings. Modelo a distant second.
Sapporo does pair well with sushi, but so does Budweiser.
I treat Boddington's as a rare treat. once or twice a year, but I should have one with a scotch egg pretty soon like Zarni recommended.
Einstok from Iceland is really good. But expensive unless you're one of those guys who never, ever buys mass produced beer.

Heh. that Sea Quench is something else. HATED my first sip. But by the time I got to the bottom, I wanted 8 more.

Have you tried the Briny Melon Gose from Anderson brewing? It’s a decent alternative.

Nah, aside from the one, I haven't played around with sours. I wouldn't have tried the Sea Quench on my own, but Hammy was in here saying it was pretty badass.

Yuengling in bottles sucks. Yuengling drafts are awesome. It's the weirdest thing.

I don't think I've had a Busch Beer since sophomore year in high school, circa 1876

I'm not much on the sours, but I like me some IPA's. Used to couldn't stand them, but the more I sampled them at festivals, the more I grew to really like them.

Some of the IPA's I've rated highly over the past few months...
Heavy Seas Alpha Effect
Troegs First Cut
South Street Hop Grove
JDub's Up Top (not up here though...got that in Clearwater when I was down last fall)
Coppertail Free Dive (same as JDub's...got in Clearwater)

¾ oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
¾ oz. grenadine

It was damn good.

Starting early today with a big draft jingaling at my local wing joint.

Probably pick up some landshark on the way home for when I'm cleaning the pool.

Swing by the liquor as the last stop to grab some white rum and Blue Chair Bay's key lime rum cream.
