If you were stuck on a deserted island with no hope of rescue and your only companion was a mermaid, would you prefer the top or bottom half to be the fish?

I'd have to go bottom half. It's counter-intuitive at first, but the more that you think about it.... I guess I will wait for McFan to weigh in with the official answer.

I swear to God....... Furniture will move up in this joint.

So the lead was too big to realistically blow, but Jumbo at least managed to screw up the shutout.

Two receptacles and is silent? Sounds like the right move to me.

Also, many thanks to the Rays for finally not ****ing up a Chris Archer win.

Sorry I missed this. I'd choose the bottom half only because as a devout Catholic, I only eat fish on Fridays

If you are referring to Mr. Goldsmith, I'd remind you its a commercial for a rather uninteresting beverage. Therefore, his subjective title would indeed be appropriate.

Does the music of Etta James provide the best musical expression of mid-20th century America's feminine libido?

I'm talking about the new guy in Legrand. Goldsmith was absolutely amazing and should never... EVER have been replaced by someone who looks so undistinguished. I didn't have heroes growing up, McFan. But this guy... he had street cred! Someone who got bitches and money without firing a single shot. My generation doesn't know what this means! Swag like that takes work and he make it look so effortless. That's all we've got because Trump took everything else away from us man!

*sniffle*

It was said that some of us weren't sure if he wasn't actually the second coming Jesus.

So you are saying that he is societally interesting merely due to the fact that he is designated as being interesting despite being uninteresting?

Sure. Good for little kids at bus stops and in cooler climates, helps with heating bills..

lol your responses never disappoint me. I went on a grunge streak after finding out Cornell died and eventually got to "Would?" by Alice In Chains and said, "You know who'd like this? McFan!" And plus I've accepted that my stock will ever fluctuate and that you're a good sport about things. Eventually I'll stop my nonsense and go on a serious streak.

BMac,

I have 2 questions:

- It's 1 AM, you drive up to a stop light, and it's red. No one is coming from any side .. do you go?

- You are alone at home, and go to the bathroom. Do you close the door?

Alright I'll ask a serious question now. What thing or things do you consider to be the most important discoveries/inventions/achievements in the history of mankind?

My answers in no particular order to give you an idea of what I'm going with here

1. Antibiotics against disease
2. The understanding and utilization of mathematics
3. The domestication of the horse for working purposes
4. Invention of reading/writing

I'd like to say fire and electricity but those occur naturally versus taking time to do something like coming up with a system of symbols that identify with purposeful language

"Sometimes" is my answer to the first question (which is wrong), mostly because I have to pee and can't wait on the longer red lights..

I don't close the door to my own bathroom if I am not alone or alone... I share the wealth, so to speak..
