Randy Orton put Harper over at Elimination Chamber. That match began with fans rooting for Orton. By the end of it they were rooting louder for Harper.

The work was botched and this is the problem with WWE. They have no room for improvising on the spot. Bryan should've come out, declared Harper the winner but then had Styles challenge Harper to put up his #1 contender spot. Instead they tried to hide it by not showing 1 replay of a questionable ending and made Bryan look dumb by declaring a draw.

Ultimately I think they're working towards a Fatal 4 Way at Wrestlemania with Wyatt, Styles, Harper and Orton. There's no way Randy Orton is going to give up his spot once and for all. Plus there's only so many matches they'll have to go around sharing the card with Raw & NXT.

I'd add in 2 matches. On Smackdown, I think Usos vs American Alpha is being built as a championship encounter. Should be a good match between the 2 teams. On Raw, I think they will have Sasha Banks wrestle Stephanie McMahon. They've been building it for a while now. Sasha is the 1 female on Raw's roster who doesn't need the title to be relevant with crowds. And Stephanie is as good as any heel woman on either roster. Should be a huge encounter.

New reports point to what could be a title defense at the Payback pay-per-view in April, which will be taking place in her hometown of San Jose, California. But that also brings to fore one of WWE’s notable booking quirks, one that may suggest another short-term women’s championship reign in the post-brand split era.


A new report from WrestlingNews.co suggests that the plan for Bayley at WrestleMania 33 may still be a RAW Women’s Championship victory in a match that may also include Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, and Nia Jax. Based on what Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter wrote weeks back, this may mean Bayley will drop her title to Charlotte at next month’s Fastlane pay-per-view, and regain it in the above-mentioned four-way match at ‘Mania. This scenario would allow Flair to retain her pay-per-view winning streak in singles matches for another month, thus making Bayley’s feat at WrestleMania appear more meaningful.

As for what happens after WrestleMania 33, the report suggests that Bayley will be defending her title at Payback, which is scheduled on April 30 at the SAP Center in San Jose. WrestlingNews.co didn’t mention any potential opponents, but WrestleZone reported earlier this month that Sasha Banks is rumored to be turning heel at Fastlane, which could set up a Sasha vs. Bayley feud after WrestleMania.

How long has a Sasha Banks heel turn been rumored? She and Bayley are the only faces on Raw. They really can't afford to turn her heel. Paige and Summer Rae returning would help but there's been no indication of either coming back.

Also I just read an article last week. She's more over than Bayley is. There's a Shawn Michaels feel to the character. Very eye popping, charismatic, a rebel. Crowds like that.
