Well, if this the real "tgp" and I'm guessing the "*" "*" signal its not, then this board is safe. Because few know the real power of that all time great poster. WHOA!

You guys are absolutely too smart to even try to fool. It's me, PewterGods/The Chronic/Jaw Breaker.

Absolutely right. Now we're talking about real LEGENDS of Buc cyberworld.

Of course I'm first but McFan has got to be top 5 or so.

Speaking of true LEGENDS haven't seen PewterSlime around for a bit.....

If that's true you ****ing moron you don't use his death as a reason to spew ugliness on people inquiring about him.

Have some respect for the guy.

He was a good dude, if it's not a sick troll job that's sad to read.

Someone with credibility text me please.

Thanks, we move on.

Sounds as though this could be true, several have confirmed.

I've seen all kinds of scams, people dying of brain cancer, come up missing so they could steal t-shirt money, posters hawking money for flowers on fake deaths and so on....

Forgive me for being cynical.

Pewter was my partner in the LEGENDS smack at the original board, we started doing it just to troll a few idiots and it took off.....

Didn't know him off the board but he was a witty dude, a must read.

Oh, and certainly a Buc LEGEND.

RIP my friend.

Spew ugliness? I typed "...."

If you think my incredulous response at how someone could be so impossibly stupid is spewing ugliness, so be it. When you move on, make sure it's in front of an express train.

Anybody ever search through the Wayback Machine website? I typed in bbs.buccaneers.com.

https://web.archive.org/web/20050701000 ... aneers.com

Click on a year, it will give you a calendar, the dates that are blue contain snapshots of the old website. Click on the blue timestamp within the date and you will see a snapshot of the board's homepage. You can even click on the specific forums, however I've yet to successfully see a thread that was kept in time. Also I've yet to see the Off-Topic forum available as it was of course only able to be seen by users who were logged in.

Just wanted to share the nostalgia with you all, especially all the old user names listed below on the various snapshots of the home page.

Oh he knew it, this has more to do with the 487th time I've handed his fat ass to him in TD.

Low guy on the totem pole feels he needs to show out for the others...... wanted to use that "step in front of a train" retort.

Cool, great thing to discuss as we're talking about a deceased forum LEGEND. Sigh.

Thanks for the few who helped resolve the situation, wonder how many others that don't read down here often are unaware of it?

GODSPEED. Save me a seat at the cool kids table..... if they don't fire Smith I won't be long.

We move on.....

No reason to be forgiven, just more of the low self-esteem clown working hard to impress others......

There's somewhat of a difference to who I look for when opening the forum. In the new Millennium, on the Corporate board, there where always posters surrounded by controversy whether they were trolling or otherwise. Names I always looked at for controversy:
PG
AE
PMI
Pete
These guys were ALWAYS in the ****, slugging it out with others. PG coined them "Guardians of the forum", protecting against "intruders" and boy, were they good at it.

Others I looked forward to for good solid funny stuff:
Lceman/MrsLice
Slimey
ChicBuc/CBM/CBMS
Clewiston
14daRams/daBucs
BiBL
FMB
Sappy
Kress
Pittman4two
McFan

For football content
MaryJaneWatson
TBF
PMI
0-26 Survivor
Irondog

They could "KILL" you... in one sentence
Grimmy
Betsy
NYBF
Outtie

On this forum you have SOME of the old timers, but I think Twitter/MySpace/Facebook killed of a lot of forum users. I think THIS forum is more football knowledgeable with posters like:
Bootz
RBF
Cheb
MJW
Dreadnaught
Teitan
mdb1958 (if lucid)
Doctor
PMI (somewhat mellowed over the years)

Of Topic, you have a BUNCH of talent (my favorite thread, all-time, HAS to be "Ideologies"... It allows me to understand just how stupid I am.)
Lachy
MB
Zarni
Buc2
Delt
Croc

I don't post at anywhere NEAR what I used to, but I recognize talent and intelligence when I read it... and there are a lot of smart people in here.
