I'm watching 50 seniors take a 4 hour comprehensive exam right now.

We are 2 hours in and at least no one is crying or throwing stuff

And this is just part 1 of 2....we have a 3 hour essay next week too

It's very Miconopy-like. Lots of antiques and at least two bakeries. .. they have an event in spring called Pioneer Days that have a lot of crafts .... Scurvy would LOVE it :O

I just got a fascinating education in gemology from a reputable jewler on diamonds and flaws they have plus some insight into how they are marketed.

I'd say never buy a diamond without looking at it through a scope. My mother's ring has feathering right through the center of it but you'd never tell with the naked eye.

Really interesting.

I find it easier just to not buy gemstones.

We're awaiting our turn. We've got a small band just now passing through with the big stuff not too far behind.

I was in DC when that hit. Spent a week on state active duty after I got back.

One last trip to my alma mater, Glenville State College today to pick up a frame for my degree. I've only been putting it off for about four years.

In other news, moving is hard. Such a pain to pack up and still live.

15 and a wake-up.

tell me about it dude. last year, my wife, our 1 year old son, our pug, and our cat chucked half our lives in storage unit (the pug and cat were bums and were zero help), and packed the other half into the back of our pick up (it was towering over the cab) and drove from Tallahassee, FL to Canada (lake erie) (18 hrs) - then 3 months later, packed the truck again, and drove to Maine (13 hr drive). Then two months after that, packed it up and drove to Milwaukee from Maine (20 hr drive). Then I flew down to Tallahassee, paid a couple buds in beer, packed the half of our lives that was left in the storage unit into a Uhaul, and drove it up to Milwaukee (17 hr drive)

been. there. suffered through that. lol

best of luck unloading, you're at least in for a big relief

Make sure you swing by Arnold's. Pretty happening place.

Even Weezer played there.
