I was shook after the episode. Always great when TV when they can get that kind of emotion out of the audience. We all were prepared to lose one of the OGs on the show, but the way it played out was unreal drama.

Gotta admit, I was a little let down at first...I thought "what the hell, the time line/story line is fucked all to hell now"..

But as soon as Daryl punched Negan, I new what the punishment was gonna be..

And man...when he was just kneeling there blubbering...gut wrenching..

Every single one of them played their part perfect. It couldn't have been acted any better. Great job by all.

Kinda sorry to see Glenn go. Not really surprised, but it still sucks. He really had come a long way since his first appearance on the show. It will be fun to see how Maggie progresses with his loss. Hell, it will be fun to see how the entire group progresses with both these losses.

As for the previews...Carol in a wheelchair being pushed around by Morgan. I wonder if that will be permanent or not? I can't wait to see her reaction to, King Ezekiel. heh Should be good.

I am not usually one to turn away from something disturbing, but I found myself doing that, as well as covering my ears, several times during that episode. The whole thing was so upsetting and when Glenn told Maggie, "I'll find you," that just wrecked me. Btw, The Talking Dead show afterwards was the best of those I have ever seen.

They can say this week's episode was lighthearted and necessary storytelling after last week's episode all they want..

It was a friggin snoozefest...

And King Ezekiel was WAY to over the top...

Then you missed the best part about Ezekiel. I recommend going back and watching.

I like the episode. Just makes me want to see Negan and his group get taken down that much more. I hope it is long an painful for the little punk who made the comment about the group being lucky that they are having it go easy on them.

Yeah, probably not a good episode for those with ADHD or anyone that can't watch anything that doesn't have non-stop action.

I enjoyed the episode and the portrayal of Ezekiel. I'm just surprised they brought "The Kingdom" into the fold so soon. I figured that would be a mid season introduction. Seems like they might try to tackle the whole "All out war" portion of the story this season. I figured the main Negan conflict would at least roll into season 8, especially considering how long they drug out the prison stay and the Governor's role.

Imo, there's no way is the looming Saviors/Kingdom conflict is going to resolve in this season. I think it will definitely carry over to next season. For one thing, I don't think a big clash will even occur this season. I think we may see a series of run ins or small skirmishes between the two groups with the cliffhanger being the beginning of a major battle between them. I think this season will mostly be made up of episodes where the groups are spying on each other and planning battle strategy with a side show of an effort to free Daryl. I think the side show will happen when Carol finds out the Saviors are holding Daryl and she will work out a plan to free him.

I haven't read the comic(s)...but some folks I know have and they have hinted that Rick becomes somewhat of a bitch...

Anyone know or care to share any info on this "presumption"?

It'd kill me...haven't had a man-crush this bad since I was 6 and was all in for Michael Knight in Knight-Rider...

I'd say he struggles a bit after seeing Glenn get his head bashed in and at first complies. Eventually though, he wakes up and he formulates a plan to take down Negan and the saviors with The Kingdom, the few at the Hilltop, and a turncoat under Negan. I think maybe what those people might be referring to is Rick's attitude after the Negan conflict, which stems from how he chooses to deal with Negan and his tamer attitude for a while. Eventually though, there is conflict again and Rick has to revert back to survival Rick.

I would think this as well. There are so many things to tackle before the war starts. The Kingdom introduction though, happens way after the Negan/Lucielle intros. Once the Kingdom is introduced, that's when Rick's crew realizes they might have shot at rising up vs the saviors if they all combine forces. There also are rumors that the whisperers could be around the corner in season 8. Any talk of that group is WAAAAAAY premature considering the War storyline hasn't even started yet. My hope is that they don't try and rush this conflict in one season. There is a lot of material to mine from the comics on this war. Easily two full seasons worth.

I have never read the comics so I'm totally unfamiliar with these "whisperers" you speak of. I'm going solely based on what I've seen in the TV series to date and how things have evolved there.

That was the first thing I saw when the camera scanned out. Although I didn't realize it was to Sasha. Just thought he was being himself.

It was a nice little gesture.

The only thing that gave me hope was that little flare of fire Rick caught when Negan had his back to him (when Negan was killing the walker with the candlestick)..

A small flicker..an ember..but give it time...give it time...
