There are a lot of downed trees everywhere. A lot of road closures and people without power inn Tallahassee this morning.

Footage on Facebook through WxChasing site. Their website crashed due to traffic.
Really big devastation, many homes are gone (not destroyed, GONE).

I can't even begin to comprehend the magnitude of this destruction. That Mexico Beach video brought tears to my eyes.

You're right! It's really horrible. One of daughter's friends families had a house there. We have picture of their site from last night, but are not sharing it.
They are deciding through insurance if they should / can / have to build back.

Man...that has got to be so tough. I'm not sure I'd want to build back there after that. The odds of that area being hit again have to be off the charts high. But still...

Those pictures reminded me of Homestead after Andrew. It was like someone dropped the bomb.

WHEW!
The Tudor's Biscuit World on West 23rd street in Panama City is still there.
Tyndall AFB is all tore up. ALL of the aircraft overhangs on the apron are gone and if you scroll to the main gate you can see the flipped over F-15 they showed on the news.

It was a static display, not a real F15, but still it's a mess. My reserve unit is down there helping.

Same storm
Halifax is southern Virginia near Danville, and maybe 1 hour south of Lynchburg (where Buc2 lives).
