Iowa St leading Oklahoma St 30-21. Not sure if that'd truly be an upset though as ISU is known for playing with most schools close(especially under Cambell) and occasionally beating them as well.

I was quite happy to be able to watch the whole game. I thought Miami was supposed to be good and we were going to get crushed. ****, we might have won that game if we didn't get a TD called back on a phantom penalty.

His rinky dink scheme beat the top two teams last year (Alabama and Georgia). Auburn was the only loss on their schedules until they played each other in the national championship. And Auburn only has one loss this year.

Firing Malzahn would be monumentally stupid.

The issue with him is he's simply to predictable. We've lost twice now, with yesterday being against unranked 3-2 miss state and it was the most anemic **** show of a offense I may have ever seen at Auburn. I personally believe Gus is the reason qb talent tends to regress the longer they're playing for him, that's just my opinion though because I can't believe how terrible Stidham is playing this year. We've also had a good amount of talent at qb come through since Gus been here and he can't develop a qb to save his soul. Only time we're truly successful is with a 1yr transfer under Gus, preferably a gimmick qb and not a pocket passer.

Kaaya (sp) wasn't solid enough for you?...wasn't the kid a 3 or 4 year starter?...

He was a 3 year starter. Started his freshman year, even though from my understanding the entire team was mad because it benched a senior who had earned the spot and the players trusted. He then left after his junior year simply because he just wanted to be drafted. Still has not made it with the NFL. In leaving he said he felt if he stayed he would have won the championship with the team last year but he would rather be a 7th round pick and not make an NFL team. He certainly threw a nice ball. Though he seemed to have limitations on what kind of passes he would throw. Also he felt phantom pressure which would have him go from having a pretty clean pocket to scrambling into a defender and sacking himself.

I guess it really depends on what you view as successful. We use to have QBs go to the league and have amazing to decent careers and also winning heisman trophies to a slew of forgettable QBs.
