Not only all those losses, but 3 top-10 teams (ND, UCF, Texas) narrowly avoided losses to bad teams. Crazy weekend. As for the new top, will prolly look something like:

1) Bama

2) Clemson
3) Ohio St
4) Notre Dame
5) LSU
6) Michigan
7) Texas
8) Oklahoma
9) Georgia
10) Florida

I'm not sure LSU scoots that far back up the chain , but I get it. They beat #2

If the 9/ 10 slots stay, that makes the Cocktail party (UF/UGA) more important (more for SEC East position, than National Ranking).

Given their schedule, I think LSU should be the highest one loss team

That's the greatest thing about college football :)

For the next two months we are going to argue and argue over who the top 4 should be.

Which is also what's broken.

This shouldn't be about what ANYONE thinks. It should be about the field. That's how UCF got screwed last year, and how Auburn was screwed in Tuperville days.

They need to fix the system and let the kids play it out. I've said it before and will keep harping.. D2 and D3 have playoffs and it works
We don't need bye weeks and pansy schedules.. we need mega conferences and guts.

I’ll call it right now. IF Ohio State doesn’t play better than it did vs Penn State, Indiana or Minnesota, they will lose tonight. They need to start playing better football or else...

Kaaya (sp) wasn't solid enough for you?...wasn't the kid a 3 or 4 year starter?...

He was a 3 year starter. Started his freshman year, even though from my understanding the entire team was mad because it benched a senior who had earned the spot and the players trusted. He then left after his junior year simply because he just wanted to be drafted. Still has not made it with the NFL. In leaving he said he felt if he stayed he would have won the championship with the team last year but he would rather be a 7th round pick and not make an NFL team. He certainly threw a nice ball. Though he seemed to have limitations on what kind of passes he would throw. Also he felt phantom pressure which would have him go from having a pretty clean pocket to scrambling into a defender and sacking himself.

I guess it really depends on what you view as successful. We use to have QBs go to the league and have amazing to decent careers and also winning heisman trophies to a slew of forgettable QBs.

Yep this , Maarve and Brad Kaaya were not Kosar , Kelly , Testaverde , Steve Walsh was pretty good colleg Qb

I like how Purdue kept trying to run out the clock in the 4th quarter and ended up scoring long TDs.

With Kentucky losing, if the Gators beat Georgia, they can all but punch a ticket to the SEC title game. Best case then would be if LSU knocks off Alabama in a couple weeks and they draw LSU instead of Bama in Atlanta.

I was led to believe this Kentucky team was good. They’ve scored 30 fewer points against Missouri than what I’ve been told is a bad Memphis team. I’m gonna need one of you SEC genius to explain that to me.

Not sure if these are Strong’s recruits or Taggart’s on defense but they are horrible. They make the Bucs defense look like the ‘85 Bears.

Edit: Wow what a win by Kentucky.

Jesus we are getting our asses whooped tonight. We usually play ND pretty close and have success moving the ball. We can barely get a first down tonight.

By halftime, at least half of Doak Campbell Stadium had emptied out. It took a late touchdown by the Seminoles to keep the worst loss record from being broken. Florida State suffered a 49-0 loss to Florida in 1973.
