Why Jake Locker walked away from the NFL

I thought this was a good read in these draft days, both with regard to current prospects and players previously drafted. Sometimes there is a lot of stuff going on that you never hear about.

It started as a good read and prob ends as one too, but too long for a story about Jake ****ing Locker. Would love to hear someone else who cares more sum it up though.

Loves football, hates the limelight. Drank a bit, found Jesus with Matt Hasslebeck, decided to go raise cows in his hometown.

For me the draw wasn't Jake Locker, he was just the example given, the "vehicle" so to speak. I didn't read it thinking about Locker specifically, I read it thinking about any draft prospect or non-veteran player.
For me, at least, it was worth the time and perspective it provided.
