You only posted about him AFTER the international pro day was held here in Tampa and he became 'relevant' to people who follow the draft because the draft media reported on him.

This possessive claim you have on this prospect is amusing. But carry on buddy, you discovered him....
I talked about him Buddy!

While you guys did 14 weeks of who are your top three. Where is the prospect list that has him going in the 4th round? I'd like to look thru it.

Naismith, just saw/realized your selection of WR Pettis for the Jags...

Excellent pick...

Thanks. I get a couple of draft guides each year and Matt Waldman has him as his top WR. Definitely seems like a guy that would have more excitement behind him if he was healthy during the athletic testing.

6 pm on Thursday will be the official end of our draft. Any leftover picks in the 4th round(let us be honest...we're not getting farther than that)will be put on autodraft, and all selections immediate.

Gives us time to **** on our own draft before the actual one starts...and once it starts, we can't really continue as IRL trades will start to **** up our draft order.

I guess I should mention how the stupid idiot Falcons crushed it in this draft, even though they suck and lost an unloseable Super Bowl.

1. Taven Bryan (26th overall)
2. Lorenzo Carter (58th overall)
3. Austin Corbett (71st overall)

They had to trade pick 90 and 126 for pick 71. They got each player at a position of need and later than they'll go in the real draft.

But also, eff the Falcons.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are done.

1. Isaiah Wynn, OG, Georgia
2. Traded pick 61 to Denver for pick 71 and Denver's 2019 2nd rounder.
3. Traded pick 71 to Atlanta for picks 90 and 126.
3. Dante Pettis, WR, Washington
3. Traded pick 93 to the Cleveland Browns for Josh Gordon, WR.
4. Desmond Harrison, OT, West Georgia
4. Fred Warner, LB, BYU

The Jags tried to trade up into the draft to get in range to select their #1 overall player, Baker Mayfield (although management denies they had any interest in moving on from Blake Bortles). When that failed, they focused on their top need, interior offensive lineman and got their second ranked one.

The Jags tried to trade for Jabrill Peppers, offering far more than the Browns actually got for him, but couldn't complete the deal. They did give up a third round pick for Josh Gordon in a move that both gets them an additional weapon for Bortles as well as sets them up nicely to receive a compensatory pick after 2018 if they can't sign him to a new contract.

Without a third rounder, the Jags were quick to accept Denver's offer of a ten spot drop to pick up an additional 2019 second rounder. They traded back again to pick up an additional fourth rounder. With the added ammo, the Jags tried to move back up to draft an edge rusher they coveted in Kemoko Turay. He almost made it to pick 90 but was snatched away by the Rams just a few spots ahead. The consolation prize was the wide receiver the Jags had rated as their number one WR in Dante Pettis.

The Jags worked the phones hard trying to move to the top half of the fourth round to draft Josh Sweat but came up empty. They were very excited to get the extremely athletic Desmond Harrison late in the round. Harrison could challenge to start at RT right away.

With their final pick in the fourth round, they went straight value, getting a guy that fits their system well and had a second round grade in Fred Warner.

The Washington Redskins are done:
1. DT Vita Vea
2. CB Isaiah Oliver
3. Traded for Alex Smith
4. OG Wyatt Teller

We filled all our major holes as the board fell quite nicely for us to pick based on need. I think we got 3 starters plus Alex Smith, so we've got to be pretty happy with how we go into the season.

And The Arizona Cardinals
1. QB Josh Allen
2. Traded up to 4 for Josh Allen
3. OL Orlando Brown
3. FS Jessie Bates
4. WR Daesean Hamilton

I also think we got 3 starters here (Allen might not start right away, but he could). I don't really like losing Mathieu then using a 3rd rounder to replace him but I wasn't in control of the first part, and I'm happy with how the depth chart sits now.

I'm gonna edit this to mock how I would've liked rounds 5-7 to fall once we're done with round 4.

NY Giants

1) QB-Sam Darnold
2) RB- Ronald Jones
3) DL-D’Shawn Hand
4) LB- Uchenna Nwosu

Added our QBOTF and a starting RB. Also added some defensive players built for the new 3-4 defense to groom. Owning my last pick, probably going to take another RB bc I’m lazy and I’m running out of names I know.

Saints
1. Hayden Hurst, TE South Carolina
2. No selection
3. Micah Kiser, LB Virginia Tech
4. Reily Furguson, QB Memphis

Two starters and a QBOTF

Seahawks
1. Darrius Guice RB LSU
2. No selection
3. No Selection
4. Hercules Mata'afa, Edge Washington State

Two starters, but not picking in the 2nd and 3rd hurt a lot.

Baltimore:
1. Calvin Ridley, WR
2. Dorance Armstrong, Edge
3. Kyle Lauletta, QB
4. Ian Thomas, TE

Detroit:
1. Harold Landry, Edge
2. Nick Chubb, RB
3. Chukwuma Okorafor, OL
4. Trenton Thompson, DT

If I were a Baltimore or Detroit fan, I'd be very very happy with those first four rounds. Baltimore could use some more help on the O-Line, but I think all of those prospects will pan out very nicely and were the better moves at the time.

Thanks to everyone that participated and commented. This was a fun exercise.

The drafts that many teams had were impressive hauls. I didn't expect so many teams to draft so well, so I appreciate the due diligence people put in.

Until next year....

I was hiding him.

But yeah, he's been in the top 50 discussion. If he had that production at a power 5 school, he's a top ten pick. He's great value for the Rams at the end of the fourth.

I think Bootz should give me a regrade after this draft. Both of my picks were long gone in the real draft before I selected them in the mock; Kolton Miller actually went 16 slots higher and I get a C+.
