It’s Shea Patterson time to shine for final drive.

He isn't calling shot plays. Nickle and diming at glacial velocities.

It's still early, so I shouldn't bitch too much. 2 minutes left, down by a touchdown. Let's see what we've got.

Good game. Michigan still a solid team and will have a good season, esp with that defense. Patterson is an upgrade from what they had. ND’s defense was the difference. They have a solid front 7. Michigan not the only team that will have a tough time moving it on them.

Pass protection is overrated. So is clock management. So is aggressive playcalling.

Credit to Notre Dame, that was a hell of a stunt.

Michigan deserves to lose this one. We need to lock our **** up on offense.

He's not the problem, but he certainly isn't the savior some Michigan fans thought. I have a lot of Michigan fans in my family and they thought he was going to be Andrew Luck-esk, ignoring that he wasn't great at Ole Miss and he wouldn't have started there this season. I still think Michigan can have a good year.

Patterson didn't have a lot of time to throw the ball last night. The ND defense was in his face all night. When he did have time, he actually looked really good. I think Michigan is going to have success against other defenses, in particular Ohio State who I think have some big holes and can be exposed. And Michigan's defense looks stellar. Let's just let the season play out a bit more before we jump to any conclusions. It was a tough game on the road against a good team. There's still a lot of season left.

Just saw that Michigan is 9 - 9 in its last 18 games.

Urban Meyer is in his 7th year at Ohio State. In total he has 8 losses.

:P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P

to get back to Ohio State's 9th loss, you have to count 74 wins

I seriously don't get it.

He went to USD and turned them into a powerhouse.

People forget now how moribund Stanford was when Harbaugh got there. He did the best coaching job in the country turning them into a top-tier program.

He went to a bad, gutless, quarterback-less 49ers team took them to a Superbowl.

And now he's a mediocre coach at Michigan.

A casual observer, after 11 years of bad football under 3 very different head coaches, might theorize that Michigan Football is the problem here, and has been the problem since Lloyd Carr stop running the show.

Bummer in Lincoln. Not shocking. Transitioning to Frost's offense, with a True Freshman QB at that, wasn't going to be seamless. Excited for the future though.

Scott Frost isn't alone. Willie Taggart, Chip Kelly, Kevin Sumlin....they're all dealing with first year growing pains. I would say in Frost and Kelly's case, they were given very bad hands and it's going to take time to get their guys in and turn it around. Sumlin and Taggart actually have some talent there and are still struggling.

It got cancelled from the weather. I’m not sure if there was talk to play Sunday or not. I’ve seen conflicting stories.

I’m guessing the Zips would have wanted to play if they could. Even if they reschedule against another opponent later the payday will be much much smaller

I read somewhere Nebraksa wanted to play but the Zips said they had already checked out of their hotel and it was just too much work and stress on the players.

The latest I read had said

1.) the team would have had to have been split up across several hotels as there wasn’t enough vacancy at the hotel they stayed at Friday ... which would have made the logistics difficult considering the game has to be played early because of potential weather (10 am or earlier kickoff)

2.) they were skeptical they would even be able to get the game in Sunday because of more weather and were worried even if they got the game in, the cell that was coming may have made it hard to fly out Sunday

Apparently they are considering a week 14 game of either team needs a win to get bowl eligible

quick trivia for my BIG10 folks -- No cheating

1.) What school brought in both the most revenue and profit for the 2014 - 2016 seasons?

2.) What big 10 school brought in both the most revenue and profit for the 2014 - 2016 (obviously the answer to part 1 isn't a big 10 school)?

3.) How many Big 10 teams are in the top 25 in revenue and profit?

I don't. They said 3 times during the Clemson game that A&M was the most valuable team in the nation thanks to Kyle Field and their facilities. Michigan used to be number 2 behind Texas, so that's just a guess and I have no idea about the 3rd question.

Got tickets on the cheap so I'm looking forward to the Troy game on Saturday. I actually liked the backup, Andrew Bunch, better in the Spring Game, so I'm good if Martinez doesn't end up playing. The only other game I already have tickets to is the Lovie Smith Forced Retirement Tour Game.
