All of those minus Michigan State vs. Washington State I will be watching.

I obviously have an interest in Michigan vs South Carolina as well. I hope it's half the game of the last time we squared up. That was one of the best games I've ever watched.

That's what is famous, but our drive with no time outs down the field to win the game was equally crazy. Ace Sanders had like 4 catches on that drive.

The college playoffs

Michigan vs South Carolina, for obvious reasons.

I have two former players going to bowl games this season, so I'll be sure to watch those.

Outside of those six, I probably won't bother.

Peach Bowl: Auburn vs. Central Florida

Orange Bowl: Miami vs. Wisconsin

Sugar Bowl: Clemson vs. Alabama

Rose Bowl: Oklahoma vs. Georgia

Citrus Bowl: LSU vs. Notre Dame

Those are my picks. But I'll also watch the Southwestern University of Yarnless Knitting vs. Northwestern Polytec College of Southern Coldish Water Scuba Diving if it's on. Because, football.

College playoffs
Peach Bowl
Birmingham Bowl

Edit: Crap! I just saw that the Birmingham Bowl is on this Saturday. I'll be driving to Charlotte for the Bucs game. Guess I'll have to record it, but that's not the same. :(

Don't worry Buc2, not many USF fans will be watching it live.

#USF announces it has sold 1,059 of its 10,000 allotted @Birmingham_Bowl tickets (school sold 1,648 last year). More than 4,500 of this year's tix have been donated back to bowl (for charity groups). Another 300 distributed to veterans.

edit: Is the fan base really that terrible? That's crazy.

it's only their 3rd bowl ever.

growing up Akron was the closest university to me and my dad took me to a few of the games. and since i played sports in college, i always had to take summer classes to catch up...and i took them at Akron...so I'm a quasi-alum :)

Yep. It's one of the shittiest fan bases I've ever seen. They don't deserve to even have a team. Pathetic. Yeah... I get it. They have only had football for a couple decades. Still, I'd expect MUCH better than that. It's not like Birmingham is that far to travel either. Hell, they could drive it in, what? 9-10 hours?

USF would have more of a fanbase if they had more direction than becoming a defacto coaching farm team for the rest of the NCAA. God forbid Charlie Strong actually accomplishes something here and he'll be on the first flight to some big time school. They need someone who is gonna keep the school on a solid track, do a good job recruiting and most important of all: stay!

The whole thing fell apart with Leavitt

USF will never be more than that without fan support. They will never make it to a p5 conference or be a relevant team without fan support. I think it's going be between USF and UCF as the Florida school chosen during the next expansion...if any additional teams are added...I don't think both will get picked. UCF has their own stadium (kind of) which gives them a bit of a leg up. Will USF eventually get one?

New Years Day is going to be great. I plan on taking it easy (have nice dinner plans but after that call it a night) New Years Eve and spending New Years Day all day watching football drinking brews.

Noon: Michigan vs South Carolina (already stated, if it ends up a stinker by 1pm you can flip too...)

1pm: LSU vs Notre Dame (lots of prospects for use, including Nelson, Guice, and Key. I would guess our first rounder is playing in this game)

5pm: Oklahoma vs Georgia (I'm on the Mayfield train)

8:45pm: Alabama vs Clemson (need I say more?)

I have to try and watch as many as possible.

I have notes/impressions on about 180 players....out of 437.

That was something. Real testament to what a strong run game can do.

Anyone watching Iowa vs BC?

Neat to see a bowl game outdoors in the North

I've got a wedding tonight, but USC vs Ohio State features some interesting prospects. Really hope Darnold has a monster game and entrenches himself as the #1 pick option for Cleveland... because I don't think the Giants could pass on Rosen at 2... (assuming both come out)

Sam Darnold is terrible. I’ve watched him play multiple games and I don’t see what nfl scouts see in him. He is a turnover machine. It’s like NFL scouts don’t want to admit their wrong about a player.

He should stay in school

Would like to see more of Ronald Jones, but he's not getting a lot of touches at this point.

He was really good last year, has had some great games this year, and every game makes a throw that only a few people in the world can make, but overall I agree. He has a long delivery, is innacurate for long stretches, has bad pocket awareness. All the QBs this year have pretty bad warts. There may be a lot of pretty good QBs, but none are great.

Darnold played pretty well all things considered. Zero run game and constantly under pressure
