If we're gonna go outside rush lbs I'm definitely going full blown homer and calling for Jeff Holland #4 AU if he declares. Dude has a relentless motor and is a really smart football player.

Marcus Davenport - UTSA

I think this guy will have alot of hype come Feb-Mar and see his value increase on draft boards. Small school prospect, but NFL size and athleticism.

So Sad!

No one has 49 inch arms and not one --------------- even Bootz questioned it.

I can't find any 2017 tape on him but Ja'von Rolland Jones out of Arkansas St. had 13 sacks this year.

2016 bowl game vs. UCF is out there and looks decent.

Saw him in his bowl game where/when he was trying to tie or break the all time collegiate sack record..

He got shut out..

Looks like a big fish/small pond guy...if he had played at a power 5 school, he likely would be a nobody..

Now it starts... With Tampa now picking at #7 and likely out of reach of Chubb, I can't wait to hear everyone's all new take on DE's that were meh two days ago but are now all of the sudden "top ten" to them.... Time to break out the "draft for need" goggles...

It's not a reach if the guy will likely be gone when you pick again.

UDFAs are subject to the same rookie wage scale that impacts draft picks, so naturally, players who don’t get drafted will have among the smallest contracts in the league. Currently, Spotrac estimates the 2017 UDFA salary to be $465,000.

What’s the upside of going undrafted?

You offer Marcus Martin $495,000!

I can tell you now that my weakest stuff in the power five is the Pac-12.

I go to bed too early these days to hang in there for a 10pm kickoff.

From the way they played in bowl games it doesn’t appear you missed much NFL talent

I think a lot will depend on who declares.

Clelin Ferrell from Clemson and Rasheem Green from USC are two players that appear interesting, but right now I am not sure DE has a sure fire 1st rounder.

Arden Key, while projected to be a first round talent, had a knee injury and there are rumors of some off-field issues. Chubb appears to be the only top 7 pick at DE.

I think there are more players who are round 2 - 3 players.

I think ultimately we should target the best edge in FA. Whether that's Lawrence, Ansah, or whomever. The chances of getting Chubb are too slim, and the pickings after him are sketchy as well. Maybe take a 4th round flyer and we get lucky and find a Danielle Hunter or Carl Lawson, but we can't go into the draft banking that we are going to get our edge then.

Cheb, I would you and a few others to look at Marcus Martin's highlights. I want this guy as a Buc, even if its just to take Bulloughs spot.

I just watched his game vs IUP. He's undraftable. Maybe as a UDFA, see what he has in rookie minicamp. But I have very low expectations.

I don't base my opinions on highlight reels. Hell, my highlight reel made me look like the next Michael Strahan, but I certainly was not.

I'd be fine with him as a UDFA, but he'd be a monumental waste of a draft pick.

I try to think about him being around much more talent. I mean c/mon all time college TFL and Sack records are his. I wasnt never trying to make him a draft pick, but somebody might. I want him for a 3rd down edge rusher, who knows he might become one of the ten that are even worth a damn.

I was worried OBP would do something dumb like pass on Nelson for Key, so I checked some LSU games. I don't hate him as much as I thought I would. He seems to do this "pounce" tackle/sack and I can't tell if I love it or hate it. It seems like it may save him a split second- which can be a the difference between a completed pass or a sack, but still seems odd. What I don't like is how he tackles people ON TO himself. That's just a knee injury waiting to happen.

His athleticism is freaky. If he'd been all-in this season, he'd be the #1 overall prospect. But he wasn't. There was OOF stuff, and conditioning stuff. He's a lotto ticket. You could be getting Jevon Kearse, or you could be getting a guy who's out of the league in 3 years.
