Postby PlinkoBuccaneer » Sun Dec 03, 2017 11:49 pm

Hi, Bucs fans! Former NFL Head Coach and ESPN NFL analyst is now Officially hired as Arizona State University's New Head Football Coach in Tempe. Current Tampa Bay Buccaneers Head Coach Dirk Koetter also used to be an ASU Head Coach there between 2001 through 2006. ;) 8-)

Happy for Herm. He's a good man and a man that parents should want teaching their sons.

I think that firing Todd Graham, ASU's prior head coach, was a mistake. They finished second in the Pac-12 South this year and beat Arizona. They've had issues with their staff turning over alot, which makes things difficult. But he revived that program in a big way. Their athletic director is mad that Arizona State isn't the best team in the Pac-12... I mean, yeah. You have to have realistic expectations.

A former player of mine is on that team. I really liked Todd Graham. Here's hoping Herm doesn't fall flat on his face.

I wish Herm the best. I believe his calling is to coach college football. I believe he can get his players to respond to his message and philosophy much better than guys out there for a paycheck could.
