Nelson's a damn pleasure to watch. He's a less powerful Larry Allen.

I think Larry was the strongest player in NFL history , but a stud Oline would be nice in Tampa . It’s tough cause I think defense wins championships . Mcglincheys supposed to be a stud OT as well

Chebs not a fan of McGlinchey.I plan to try and see what he sees in him tonight.

Nelson was an All American last year. Looking to repeat.

Notre Dame also has a big 230lb safety named Drue Tranquill who caught my eye when he blitzed, she'd a block, and scored a sack vs. Michigan state.

He got caught off balance and let the DT Bull rush him on that long ball try, but otherwise solid so far.

Games like this are why NCAA > NFL

Then throw in switching to Bama / MSU and OU / TCU and it’s pretty freaking great

Miami bringing all the pressure on the right side away from the strength of the ND line.

Winbush running right into it.

I switched to Bama for a few mins. Did they pull Wimbush or did he get injured?

Yup. This team came in mad for a rival and for the fact they have been putting all these one loss teams ahead of them and probably even considered putting 2 loss teams ahead as well.

BTW, to dispel this PR name of the rivalry:

Well...I guess we just saw what's what around here.

And don't get it twisted...Miami abused ND on BOTH sides of their o-line. That last strip sack was ND's "All Everything" LT getting spanked by a freshman.

I'm a Miami fan and even I had ND SOLIDLY as the #3 team in the tournament as of last week...and I wasn't alone.

Miami just whipped the **** out of a good Va. Tech team and the concensus #3 team in the nation. Like it or don't but Miami is legit.

I want no part of that Notre Dame Left Tackle in round 1.

Nelson looks legit, but Guard is a devalued position in the top 10. He better be Zach Martin/Brandon Scherf type good (both of which were Left Tackles in college).
