Tampa is going to pick the available player that they like the most, just got to figure out what position group gets priority #1.

So best available player AND position of need?

This would be ideal

I'm thinking it's Guice or Barkley at the moment. Barkley if the season goes down the toilet for some reason (my guess would be running game), and Guice if we make the playoffs. Lichts had some success picking guys out of Penn State and LSU, and I think both guys fit with what Koetter would want from a RB.

Barring a catastrophic injury or punching out his mother, Barkley is potentially a Top 10 if not Top 5 pick.

Ya, that's why I put him down only if the season goes down the toilet. Or maybe we could make a Julio Jones like trade. But agree, he's a likely top 10 pick.

Sutton might go over Lazard because he's a freakish athlete, but I'd bet these two big guys go before Kirk and Ridley.

Lazard is flying under the radar right now because he's at Iowa st. But he will zoom up the boards after the Bowl games.....Or so I think.

I think as long as Sutton stays the course, he'll end up as the first WR off the board in 2018. I'm absolutely not calling him Randy Moss, but he reminds me of Randy Moss more than any WR to come into the league since. He doesn't quite have Randy's deep speed, but he has the same effortless long strides, hands, hops, and ability to high-point the ball. He has that thing that all great wideouts have - even when the corner does everything right, and has perfect airtight coverage, Sutton is still going to win more often than he loses.

That's a good list of likely picks by position. Maybe put Arden Key in at DE instead? He seems to be a top 3 pick in every mock I've seen and he does look the part.

If I had my choice of any RB who has yet to play a pro game I would take Barkely over Fournette. He may not be as impressiave a size/speed combo but he is close and he is a more instinctive and creative runner. The Blount Leap is a move in his arsenal that's a natural part of his game. He just has a gorgeously unique style of running that all his own.

I agree, Barkley is special. Much better as a receiver too. Plus apparently he ran a 4.3 not too long ago.

But RB, like TE, is a specific position. If teams aren't looking for one, they won't draft one- at least in the first round, so he could fall

He won't get past Cleveland if Crowell can't put up 1,000 yards.

The pressure to pick him will be there with all those OSU fans who have seen him up close.

Depends how Kizer does. If Kizer strugglles don't see how they can pass on a franchise QB if they have the chance to draft one.

Shouldn't that just elevate his status as a legend? Pittman, what a trash human being. Juice-rager extraordinaire...

Too soon to say.

If I could draft somebody today, it would be Minkah Fitzpatrick.

He was one of those rare freak athletes who delivered with production and highlight plays consistently. Fans may not remember him from college but he was awesome to watch. We only got a few NFL seasons from him before he was murdered in his home by some punk ass kids trying to rob him on a bye week, but his greatness was obvious.

I'm from Miami so I know all about his Cane Greatness. But as many other players have shown us it's easy to dominate in college is you are a gifted freak among boys. Get the the NFL and you better be more than that. Taylor routinely got beat in coverage in the pros. Heck, if anything he would've ended up a Buc like Goldson or Ward. lol

Neither. QB

We fire Koetter and Licht. Our new GM trades Winston to the Browns for a 3rd on the first day of FA. We then draft Josh Rosen out of UCLA.

Well our GM/HC is Gruden, so we probably say we are drafting Rosen, trade Jameis and actually draft S. Barkley then sign Hoyer.
