Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd, we wont get to wave bye to most of them. If everyone one of those get picked, we get to look at seven of them.

Kinda why I was hoping for a trade down.

But give me any of these. One will be there. So that's always nice. What a draft folks, not a bad option through 2 rounds really.

I think we made the right pick. We needed to improve at TE and Howard is an amazing talent. I am not wild about drafting a TE in the 1st, but hs is also an amazing prospect. So at the end of the day, I think we got a steal at 19 and the board is still looking good for us ti improve at FS, WR, DL, or OL however they want to go/board falls to us.

Yeah from the list, we should be able to fix safety in round 2. After that just keep getting impact players. We filled our 2 biggest needs and didn't have to reach to do it. I personally love Desmond King as a FS prospect. I think he has the besr instincts out of all the secondary guys left and he should be there.

I think Budda Baker is the top target for us right now. I'm not optimistic he will be there at 50, but we have options.

If you want a free safety for round 2 (and I do)

Budda Baker (Washington)
Marcus Maye (Florida)
Marcus Williams (Utah)

If you want a Corner...

Sidney Jones (Washington)...redshirt for 2017
Kevin King (Washington)
Chidobe Awuzie (Colorado)

If you want a Guard...

Forrest Lamp
Dan Feeney
Dion Dawkins

WR?...

Zay Jones
Juju Smith-Schuster
Cooper Kupp............Don't give me any of that slot receiver crap. He's the same size as Zay Jones.

For my money, I want a DB in the second.

He should be, but I have reservations about converting a rookie corner to FS with a second round pick.

I like Desmond King...a lot. If there's a run on DB's and we take him, I'll be happy. But I am leaning towards free safteys who have played the position because they might be starting week one.

If Lamp or Feeney or there I want one of those guys. O-line is the one thing I think could hold us back this year if Winston is on his ass too much. I'm not as concerned with finding an RB, we will find somebody to run the ball.

Don't forget Chris Gordon, we scored him heavily.

I feel we go for a guy that some one had mocked to inv the first like Cam Robinson.

Picking at 18 we'll have our choice of anyone in this top 20, so that's nice. Personal faves bolded. With still some QBs that could go a little early too, more can get pushed down.

Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State
Forrest Lamp, OT/OG, Western Kentucky
Malik McDowell, DL, Michigan State
Sidney Jones, CB, Washington
Carl Lawson, DE, Auburn
Budda Baker, S, Washington
Teez Tabor, CB, Florida

Dan Feeney, G, Indiana
Chris Wormley, DT, Michiganv
Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida
Josh Jones, S, North Carolina State
Curtis Samuel, RB/WR, Ohio State
Chidobe Awuzie, CB, Colorado
Kevin King, CB, Washington
Jordan Willis, DE, Kansas State
Joe Mixon, RB, Oklahoma

Tyus Bowser - LB - Houston

I like alot of the names mentioned, but just want to add that as a I guy I'd like if he's there at 50.

I'm feeling really good about the players we'll get tonight either way.

I think we are in a great position to get a RB at 50. I doubt Cook makes it that far, but one of Foreman, Mixon, or Kamara surely will.

There are so many great DBs left I think you can wait until round 3.

This, there is a good chance that one of those guys is there for us. A Lamp/Marpet/Sweezy interior is just dead sexy. With Howard in the fold, we would really be able to run power right down the throat of most teams.

Cam Robinson is still there too. I wouldn't mind getting him to cover RT, or perhaps he can play guard too as Cheb suggested.

Its crazy that Lamp made it to round 2 and I would I think we should package our second and fourth to move up to get him. Make no mistake- I love me some defense and I think Budda Baker, Jordan Willis, and Sydney Jones are excellent prospects. I just think with how much we've put into the offense we need to finish it. Nobody has enough defensive talent to cover Evans, Jackson, Brate, and Howard all at the same time. Every DC we face is going to have the exact same plan- get to Winston. If we can't protect Jameis then all that receiving talent is worthless.

This man is wise. Blitz Winston is probably gameplan Numero uno going forward, as covering those skill players for longer than three or four seconds would be a tall order for any defense.

Drafting Cam to guard for a year, then bouncing him out to tackle to replace Dotson is pretty smart. If One Buc prefers to add a more specialized interior lineman (Lamp, Elflien, Feeney), that's great too.

There are a few guys I wouldn't like in the second, but by and large I think we will make smart decisions. Can't wait for the second and third rounds today.

I concur as well. This is the most excited I've been in awhile, and yet I have the least "demands" of any other draft that I can recall as well.

A guard would be an excellent pick for us in two. But I don't know if moving up is necessary.

The gurus are right that this is not an elite class of O-line especially at tackle, but there is a glut of good to very good interior O-line to be had. Especially in the second.

Lamp
Feeney
Dawkins
Dorian Johnson

then you have centers you can kick out to guard, and tackles you can kick inside.

Elflein
Robinson
Pocic
Moton

Starts to thin out after that, bet there's still value down the board. Off the top of my head there's Avery Gennessy and Juli'en Davenport. Kyle fuller out of Baylor, Dan Orlosky from WVU. There's a guy out of Utah we looked at.

In that case I hope Denver thinks were shopping the pick. One spot drop for picks 126 and 238.
