FSU Fan-Bois...come eat some crow!

Postby Alpha » Thu Apr 27, 2017 10:56 pm

EVERY team in the first round stayed the **** away from your boy. Because.

It wasn't because of his talent.

And this is where you chime in about his injury history/fumble issues/etc.

Dude is smoking like a chimney. And where there's smoke, there's fire.

Hood-rats got drafted in the 1st. Yet this particular hood-rat didn't. Can't imagine why that was.

So...step up. Make your excuses. Tell us all how we're gonna be sorry because...

Eat your crow or STFU.

Not an FSU fan boy, but I feel Alpha will come to regret this thread.

He's #3 on my current available list. You should be calling out the Bama fans too. Their dudes all dropped. How the hell is Cam Robinson still undrafted? I'd rather end up with him or Lamp, but I'd be over the moon if somehow Dalvin still ended up a Buc

Cook will be a monster in Minnesota.

Licht is a dummy.he trades up for a kicker but doesn't do it for a generational talent

The funny part is that Cook will go on to be a top rusher and then be used as "proof" that you don't need to take a rusher in the first because he was picked in the second.

Some of you guys throw around the term "Generational talent" way too often. He is not that. Not even close.

Indeed. I love Cook and wouldn't call him that. But even without that label he's still one of the best RBs to come out in recent years under Fournette but above Zeke and Trent Richardson.

Cook was not a better prospect than Zeke or Richardson. If he was he would have been a first round pick. It's really that simple.

That's not saying he won't have a better career than Richardson, which will be pretty easy to do.

Trent Richardson is not setting the bar very high.

He'd have to be the next Marshall Faulk to be anywhere near a generational talent.

No, it's not that simple. And it's really naive to think it is. Cook could have easily been #1 on many teams draft boards except that someone who was never really suppose to be there fell to the team pushing Cook down. In the Colts case, Hooker, in the redskins Allen, in our Howard. If not for team in the top 10 screwing around Cook would've likely gone in the first.

As for being a better prospect than those two those are MY words. There's really no definitive way of saying who is or isn't given evaluation is purely subjective. At best you can strive for a consensus opinion, which is still not fact and really just worth 1000 ***holes instead of 1.

He could of been the number one on the teams draft boards except for the other players who were available in the draft that they did end up taking? That is some sound logic there.

You have an insane fixation that we were ever going to draft him. We weren't. We weren't drafting Mixon either. Despite your telepathic insight into Lichts mind and magical interpretation of Koetters words in his PC. YOU wanted to draft the guy. The Bucs didn't.

If we had any interest in drafting a RB early we could have. We didn't. Let it go.

Pick One:
Dalvin Cook
Joe Mixon

Pick Two
Alvin Kamara

Pick Three
Kareem Hunt
D'Onto Foreman
James Connor

Pick Four
Samaje Perrine
Tarik Cohen
Joe Williams
Donnell Pumphrey
Jamaal Williams
Wayne Gallman
Marlon Mack
Brian Hill (sniff, sob)

If we'd wanted a back, even without trading up (again), we could have had a back.

OBP feels good about Doug, or barring that, comfortable with Sims and Quizz.

Well things kinda did get a damper put on them when you puke up 4th and 6th round picks and a 7th next year.

We chose to trade up rather than use those picks on a back. Getting an injured SAM was so much more important to the team than getting the best back we could to "replace" Doug that we used two picks to do it.
