I'd have to go with Tunsil, also. He seems to be the higher rated prospect of the four. Just curious how many fans would pass on a top prospect like Tunsil and take Buckner or Robinson b/c of the need on defense.

But can you imagine Jameis having Treadwell and (hopefully a more consistent) Evans to throw the ball to? My goodness.

Tunsil in a heart beat.

Tunsil at LT, we move Smith either inside to LG or over to RT. It's been shown time and time again what a great OL can do for a QB and a running game.

I hope most wouldn't pass him up. There are more rounds to go. But if we can solidify the Oline, that goes a long way to sustaining offense. Then we could imagine Winston having the time to throw to Evans, Jackson, ASJ, Sims, Brate, Bell etc.

Build from the lines out (all things being equal), I believe in 2 of the 3 simulations I did that Tunsil went 1 overall...2 of which Bosa dropped out of top 3 FWIW. Never know how realistic these things are but it is fun doing it just to see.

Treadwell isn't very fast or quick or physical (outside of his blocking), and his hands aren't elite. Coleman is way better.

Buckner and Robinson are nose guards in this scheme, and I refuse to draft a 4-3 noseguard in the top 10.

BPA is Tunsil by a country mile. Take him and figure out who is better at LT vs RT between him and Smith.

Treadwell is a near Dez Bryant clone. Now Dez is arguably the best WR in the game when healthy, and I'm not sure Treadwell will be that good, but I think he can be a true #1 WR very early on.

That said, he's not really on my radar picking in the single digits, mostly because I really don't view WR as a need at all. We took Mike Evans in the top 10 just 2 years ago, I don't see why we'd cut Vincent Jackson, and we've got a few interesting young guys in Hump and Bell. Not to mention Lovie is coaching for his life, and you better believe Licht is gonna draft him some defenders. I could see us taking a WR round 2, but not round 1.

I think I'm on the Hargreaves bandwagon, and if he's not there, take the best d-lineman available, whether that's Nkemdiche, Ogbah, or Lawson.

I guess you are right, Tunsil would have to be picked but then were still stuck with our cant make a play defense - which almost has the worst third down percentage in the league - and thats for a top ten defense. Were a half sack a game away from leading the league BUT I say it has more to do with the amount of times you pressure every single pass play. I'm thinking an average player wont get that done, were gonna need someone elite...

However unlikely, I'll search for one that allows Tunsil to drop, just to see how pathetic our defensive draft turns out.

I just have a feeling we'll go defense 1st even if there's an elite offensive prospect sitting there. Lovie has drafted ONE singular defensive player in two whole drafts. The defense obviously needs to be addressed. I just fear it's going to be a DE or CB no matter who's there.

I'm really digging this thing, kind of fun and something to do while everyone is still in bed at the house. Anywho---My first pick I couldn't pass up, which pretty much set the tone for the rest of the draft. 2nd Round there wasn't a DE or CB worth of the pick so went OL. 3rd rd I felt obligated to either grab a CB/DE and it was either Oakman or Nassib at that point (NO CBs worth crap after the 1st rd) so went Oakman on potential. I feel like 4th & 5th round provided some real value, would be really happy to pull Jones at that point. Last 2 picks just snagged CBs for special teams and hope and pray they can help. Not awful wouldn't hate this at all provided we can score a starting CB in FA.

Off the top of my head, Shaq Lawson, Calhoun and a couple other WRs. Coleman just gives us some speed at WR that none of the other WR's offer at that point IMO.

Still picking at 13. I hated having to pick another DE from Clemson but honestly...in the 2nd? Hopefully Noah wouldn't get hooked up w/ Freeman's supplier and I'd be ok with most of this assuming we had addressed some needs in FA.

This would be incredible. Paired w/ some FA additions at CB and a WR.

I have not clue about Spence off the field other than what is public information regarding his run-ins w/ drugs while at OSU. But he's one of the most talented edge rushers in this draft class. A bit raw in his technique still, but has a good skillset to work with.

Unrealistic, but I'll take it.

13: R1P13
DT ROBERT NKEMDICHE
OLE MISS
Nkemdiche to me is BPA here. If you trust him to be coachable, the guy has the talent to be an absolute force.

OLE MISS
44: R2P13
DE SHAQ LAWSON
CLEMSON
Lawson to me is a home run swing, I considered him at #13, but in the second round he's a steal. He and NKemdiche would be dynamic additions to our defensive front.

76: R3P13
WR WILL FULLER
NOTRE DAME
Fuller is one of the fastest receivers in this draft. He has the deep speed to stretch the field, and the shiftiness to excel in the short passing and return games- both huge areas of need for this team.

108: R4P13
CB ZACK SANCHEZ
OKLAHOMA
Sanchez is a favourite of mine. He's an athletic playmaker who isn't afraid to tackle. Not the biggest guy, but he's listed at 5'11" so we'll see.

140: R5P13
OT JOE HAEG
NORTH DAKOTA STATE
Haeg is a long, lean, and athletic Left tackle prospect. He might not be versatile, he might not be a road grader in the run game, but if you are looking for a blindside protector, you can't do better than this guy in the mid rounds.

170: R6P13
OLB YANNICK NGAKOUE
MARYLAND
NGakoue is an undersized speed rushing prospect. He's put up some big numbers and likely lights up the combine, but he's a 250 pound d-lineman. With some develpment he could become a 3rd down edge rusher to fear.

180: R6P23
C JACK ALLEN
MICHIGAN STATE

Allen is a versatile and experienced o-lineman, who is a center by trade, but experienced at guard and tackle as well. He can be a 6th or 7th lineman for us, and he has all of the tools to move into the starting lineup quickly if we need him to.
