Why would any Bucs fan want Cook in the first when we have several other gaping holes on our team? Get a mid to late round rb and strengthen both OL and DL instead

No idea. CBS draft board did me good.

Also, Cook is going to be a hell of a player. I think the Bucs consider him if Martin gets annexed.

It would be a horrible decision to draft a rb in the first round when we are in need of a safety, center, OL depth, DL, Wr, and a corner. We would see a ton of the same problems as this season. The middle round are when we should draft a rb, Foreman, Perine, Jamaal Williams, Hunt, Gallman, and Conner are all solid options

He got a center, a damn good one, in that mock as well as a WR who is another damn fine prospect..

Let's not forget that we have 70 million ****ing dollars to spend vs the cap as well...there's a bunch we can do wother that..

Likewise, it's a weak OL draft as it is..FA too..so do we just pass on the stud RB to take a meh OL candidate just to try and fix the line? That's dumb..

That draft isn't very realistic based on average rankings, every player went an entire round later than projected. And this draft is weak at offensive tackle, there are very good guard and center prospects in this class. And drafting a rb in the first round is a bad idea when there are huge holes on your roster. These FSU fan boys need to know how to build a winning roster and not a madden team. And Cook is pretty unrealistic for where we pick, do y'all really expect him to get past the Jets, Jags, Eagles, and Colts?

A. Kona is not an FSU fanboy, at least not to my knowledge

B. He used the CBS site..so he used their rankings..he didn't just draw them up in crayon down in his basement

C. About 60 minutes ago, RB became a huge hole on our roster..(which I'm sure Kona assumed when he did the damn mock)

D. Obviously Cook got past those teams on this mock because he was available

E. It's a simulator thread..and its December...have some fun with it and R-E-L-A-X

I know that, I'm just saying regardless of the simulation you shouldn't expect Cook OTB Fournette to get past those teams and maybe add the Panthers to that list. There's guys we can have much later that can be very good. Perine, Foreman, or Williams would be ideal

Yea, definitely not an FSU fanboy (went to UCF).

I'm normally against the whole RB in the first, but I can appreciate a stud talent when I see one. And Cook is a ****ing monster of a RB, we'd be lucky to have him. Especially now with the Martin fiasco.

Is it better to build your OL before the RB? Absolutely. But as others have stated it's a very weak OL class. Take the best player when you can.

Here was an attempt to sort of split the difference between focusing on the lines while still trying to score a weapon or two. (Full disclosure I am willing to roll the dice on our safeties if it means being able to focus on the trenches).

Round 1 Pick 18: Mike Williams, WR, Clemson (A+)
Round 2 Pick 18: Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan (A)
Round 3 Pick 21 (G.B.): Caleb Brantley, DT, Florida (A)
Round 4 Pick 18: Erik Magnuson, OT, Michigan (A-)
Round 5 Pick 12 (BUF): Matt Milano, OLB, Boston College (A-)
Round 5 Pick 18: Nico Siragusa, OG, San Diego State (A)
Round 6 Pick 18: Corn Elder, CB, Miami (Fla.) (A-)
Round 7 Pick 17 (BALT): Jehu Chesson, WR, Michigan (A+)
Round 7 Pick 18: De'Veon Smith, RB, Michigan (A+)

I'm not really as deep into the draft this year as I have been recent years, and not nearly as knowledgeable as some of you draftniks. But here's my first attempt. I doubt Foreman lasts until the 3rd lol. But I also don't think he's going to be a top 20 pick like a few on this forum think.

Round 1 Pick 23 (G.B.): Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan
Round 2 Pick 19: Charles Harris, DE, Missouri
Round 2 Pick 23 (G.B.): Dorian Johnson, OG, Pittsburgh
Round 3 Pick 19: D'Onta Foreman, RB, Texas
Round 4 Pick 19: Jordan Leggett, TE, Clemson
Round 5 Pick 19: Danny Isidora, OG, Miami (Fla.)
Round 6 Pick 19: Jake Replogle, DT, Purdue
Round 7 Pick 19: Orion Stewart, SS, Baylor

I did a few of these. This is the best one I did that didn't include Dalvin. I don't think he gets to us so I didn't want to use one of those.

I would not be upset with this. Robinson and Sutton would give our O a boost. Phillips could be a steal there. Cannon has some speed. And who wouldn't want a guy named Cannon scoring TDs in ray jay?? Haha

I'm gonna run the simulator but a couple of thoughts here:

After watching Taco DOMINATE in his bowl game....especially as it concerns to rushing the passer...there is NO WAY he makes it to the 2nd round. WTF is everyone sold on PEPPERS for!? Yeah...the special teams aspect I completely get...but the dude isn't a "Playmaker". He reminds me of Barron. A Tweener. IF Smith is still our DC, I can see him making Peppers useful...but I believe we can go in another direction here. IF Peppers had better ball-hawking skills...I'd be more on board.
